tossing up between the following two options

option 1
Higgins> Gray
Ambrose > Z. o'brien

Option 2
Higgins > Motlop
Cotchin > Fyfe

any opinions on which one would be the best? or is there an alternative trade possibility that i have missed?

Option 1: I could go a bit ballsy and trade Langdon to base rookie and Shenton to Gray (BE ~90). Is Boomer worth the extra $$? Roos have a great run home. Gray appears to be the more consistent scorer this year. Judd_Magic do you have Gray or Boomer . This leaves me with Cutler on the field this week. Would then need to trade Cutler and Langford to become a premo defender.

Option 2: is trade Langford to base rookie and upgrade Langdon this week to Hanley (BE 33) before he skyrockets in price. Then next week trade out another rookie (perhaps Michie for Honeychurch) and then upgrading Shenton to Boomer/Gray

Option 3: Langford and Shenton to Gray and base rookie. Finally upgrading Langdon to Smitchell in ~3 weeks time?
This option leaves me with 4 trades left for injuries etc. Whereas the options above only leave me with 3.

Very expensive downgrade, I'll be giving it a miss for that reason along. Kids got talent and looks a good fit for Richmond, but that's 100k less straight into the bank...

I would be looking at Langdon rather than Jaensch mate, sooner trade the rookie who has topped out then a DEF who is having a breakout season (and stumbled, true - but with the number of trades you've got, would sit on him for a bit...)

Looks like a pretty solid plan. He should out score Shenton and then provide good cover (hopefully) You then have Taylor/Ambrose to downgrade and Shenton to upgrade in a couple of weeks. Docherty might need a upgrade later on to.

Yeah will make sure I have enough cash from Shenton upgrade to fund Docherty > Mitchell when he bottoms out
