A: Mills HH
B: Bont Cogs

Keep in mind I only have 7 trades left with 3 this week. Option B means next week Ill still get Mills assuming money just enough cash ITB with 2 trades.

Hi guys,

Really need some advice on this weeks trades.

Gawn > Witts seems the logical choice but thinking Doc is a must have especially with Williams out for another 6 weeks, Doc will likely take all kickins and rack up some big scores, BE is also 60 so this as cheap as he'll ever get.

Is it worth a sideways trade of Rich > Doc ? Will take me to 10 trades and 20K but still need to target Stewart when he bottoms out as well as possibly upgrading Trac, Zerrett, Heeney etc to more consistent types.

I also may need to make these trades out of necessity as will struggle to field the bare 18.

12 trades left and 56K.

Thoughts?

Thanks guys.
Nice looking team considering you have 12 trades left. Lock in Witts-Gawn. You should have 19 playing at that rate. With a complete team and 11 trades you're at a huge advantage over some other teams, as you'll likely have trades in hand come finals time.

Depends on your rank/leagues situation, but if that extra premo will make the difference this week, do it. Although I'd ensure you have a plan to get Heeney out at some stage - not a player you want to be relying on come finals time, even with the absurd KOTD he gets.

Can you grab Bont next week if you do A?

Option B. I wouldn't be bringing in Hindenburg with only seven trades left

I’d keep Rich purely becuase he’s also another kick in taker who racks up cheap points due to that, so I reckon try and find an alternate method to keep Rich and get in Doc
Thanks for the reply mate.

That is also a good option but would mean moving a Hewett/Dawson type to the mids temporarily which isn't the worst thing.

I also gotta find a way to get Stewart when he bottoms out, which means a crisp or short type will need to go for him.

Thanks mate .

Yeah will all depends on teams, I only have 18 with gawn>Witts with Owens and MRJ out and the uncertainty of Greg Clark but Wehr should hopefully stay in the side, thought he was solid last week.

100 % agree re: Heeney, I started with him so at least I got his good scores early but totally understand why he is referred around the board as the ultimate burnman. The plan would be to turn him into a Parker/libba type, but also considering the possibility of trading him to himmelberg as HH will make 100k or better still turn out to be a keeper.

Zorko > Short
Hayes > Treakle

Should have 19 playing this week. Have enough to upgrade Clarke to a premo but might wait one more week and let him grow a little more in cash.

Yeah can do Paddy > $123 rookie and then Hobbs up to Bont. That would leave me with 5 trades and HH at F6 though
Either way it sounds like you will have 5 trades left. Cogs or HH it comes down to. Cogs role is rock solid but a few mids to come back. Don't trust HH.

This Teakle news changes everything. I could potentially have a full squad of 22 playing depending on trades, such as bringing in Durdin and getting Witts in etc
Ken Hinkley obviously plays supercoach, has always just ****ed with us and has a tyeam of POD's every year so plays funny buggers at selection to get a leg up. But this year the cows have come home to roost and he's copped the Ruck carnage like the rest of us so Teakle is getting a game.

Actually didn't want Teakle to play this week - he'll be at R3 for me no matter what as ruck line will either be Witts/English/Teakle or Witts/Preuss/Teakle (English F1). Nice leg-up for Darcy owners etc

Butters to Touk Miller is a serious upgrade, right?

I'm into the slightly luxurious/optional type moves - that's definitively "worth" it, right? Not problems having 18 on the field this week. This is my "good" bye.

I see some ditching Brodie... now you got me thinking... Brodie out does give another player this week? But why am I doing that?

Gawn and Preuss to Witts and Bont.

A lot of HH takers, 2 trades worth the $100k at the end of the season with few trades remaining? Doesn't really look enticing.
