WTF happened to Hore yesterday?

Why did he score so low for?

Was it due to May and Lever?

I have $195,400 in the kitty and 3 trades left.

Is it worth going Hore > Laird or should I look at doing something with my forward bench to try and get some cover there?

So worth keepig for at least another week you reckon and then re-access?
BE of 108.. so is the right time to trade I reckon.
Has done his job, has made too much cash to not uograde. Laird 3 round ave. of 104 and proven scorer of course, so good trade I reckon
Plus if you've got Logue already he should fill that D6/D7 spot well. ( based on his last 2 weeks).

I'm going Hore > Logue myself this week to help with $$ for a mid upgrade. Holding Answerth , although BE 70, so shouldn't lose too much.

Even if I only have 3 trades left (2 after going Hore > Laird?)

Just really worried about my forward bench cover.

Understand, need to get more premiums ASAP.

I would stay away from any player who might get tagged by De Boer.

I would look at the upcoming games for players.

Another thing look who you are playing and what “8” games vs easybeats

You do know DeBoar is out for 8 weeks right? Lol :)

That changes things a bit...
Think you need to hold. Imo

Definitely need those trades for injuries as your cover isn't strong.
If you want to use up 1 trade it would be better to look at better mid/fwd cover, as you mentioned, depending on how much cash you've got, might be good to go Hind or best cover you can afford .

I can go Burgess > Westhoff when he comes back.

He is my best cover option imo as he can cover forwards and rucks.

Ok. I've jumped to 71st overall in ranking with $219k in the bank. Now the real stuff starts!

Logue is a definite in this week. Just a matter of who it is at the expense of, and what tactical approach I take - as it could have ramifications for the season.

Gawn comes in over the next two weeks when ROB has maxed out in price, allowing the financial jump to Gawn a little easier.

Anyway, I have a few options with Logue, so here they are ordered in terms of most money made, each with their own risks in terms of having to play Logue on-field, breaking DPP links etc.

A) Make it rain, flat out risky option. :moneybag:🤑😨

- Trade Worpel > Logue.
- Duursma comes into MIDs to give equivalent cover that Worpel would've otherwise given on MIDs bench.
- Lose MID/FWD swing between Worpel/Setters et al.
- Logue is made to play on-field, with Naish and Gardner on bench until adequate upgrade becomes available in the form of Laird et al.
- $287,300 PROFIT.

B) The make it rain, risky, keep DPP option. :moneybag::relieved:
- Trade Duursma > Logue.
- Logue is made to play on-field with Naish and Gardner on bench until adequate upgrade becomes available in the form of Laird et al.
- Worpel stays as adequate cover for MID/FWDs with Setters swing etc.
- $221,100 PROFIT.

C) Risky option, better MID & FWD depth. Logue playing.

- Trade Setters > Logue.
- Shift Worpel to FWD bench, Duursma to MIDs.
- Logue has to play on-field. Reliant on Naish and Gardner for cover.
- FWD bench has no cover, but reliant on Worpel/Gray DPP Danger/Dunkley/Kelly.
- $101,300 PROFIT.

D) Play it safe, same $$ as above, terrible FWD bench, Logue DEF bench.

- Trade Setters > Logue.
- Shift Gardner to FWDs. Logue sits on bench alongside Naish.
- FWD bench has no cover with Gardner and Young, but reliant on Worpel/Gray DPP with Danger/Dunkley/Kelly.
- $101,300 PROFIT.

E) Risky option, less $$. BEST MID & FWD depth. Logue playing.

- Trade Answerth > Logue.
- Shift Duursma > MIDs to sit alongside Worpel on bench. Worpel can switch to FWDs with Setters. Super strong MID/FWD depth.
- $73,400 PROFIT.

F) Play it safe, less $$, Worpel DPP, Logue bench.

- Trade Answerth > Logue.
- Shift Setters to MIDs, Gardner to FWDs. Logue sits on bench alongside Naish.
- Worpel stays as strong MID/FWD bench cover.
- FWD bench has no cover with Gardner and Young, but reliant on Worpel/Gray DPP Danger/Dunkley/Kelly.
- $73,400 PROFIT.

Hope that all makes sense! Am leaning towards option A, as it means I can immediately upgrade a Setters > Laird (swing Gardner FWD) if it looks like i'm bleeding points if Logue drops off in scoring. Any help and advice much appreciated! Cheers! :moustache:

4 of your forwards can be covered by Danger. Boak barely gets injured. Marshall’s a bit unknown, he might tire and niggles might build up and he might need to have a rest in the run home.

But yeah, you’re fairly light on for cover...

What do you think about keeping my $195,800 to go Burgess > Westhoff instead when he comes back?

Will give me forward\ruck cover then.

Hopefully he comes back in and obviously can help you cover rucks too.

Sorry, missed you mentioned you only had 3 trades in the original post.
But yeah after seeing the team, have to go with you best cover option if not just hold

Yeah I reckon Westhoff is my best bet cover wise.

I looked at other options around the $400,000 mark and none are as good as him.

Hoping his SANFL stink gives him a kick in the arse and the addition of Dixon sees him average 90 for the rest of the season.

Option A easily, Worpel is too much of a waste as cover. Cash him in & get ready for upgrades
