Ok. I've jumped to 71st overall in ranking with $219k in the bank. Now the real stuff starts!

Logue is a definite in this week. Just a matter of who it is at the expense of, and what tactical approach I take - as it could have ramifications for the season.

Gawn comes in over the next two weeks when ROB has maxed out in price, allowing the financial jump to Gawn a little easier.

Anyway, I have a few options with Logue, so here they are ordered in terms of most money made, each with their own risks in terms of having to play Logue on-field, breaking DPP links etc.

A) Make it rain, flat out risky option. :moneybag:🤑😨

- Trade Worpel > Logue.
- Duursma comes into MIDs to give equivalent cover that Worpel would've otherwise given on MIDs bench.
- Lose MID/FWD swing between Worpel/Setters et al.
- Logue is made to play on-field, with Naish and Gardner on bench until adequate upgrade becomes available in the form of Laird et al.
- $287,300 PROFIT.

B) The make it rain, risky, keep DPP option. :moneybag::relieved:
- Trade Duursma > Logue.
- Logue is made to play on-field with Naish and Gardner on bench until adequate upgrade becomes available in the form of Laird et al.
- Worpel stays as adequate cover for MID/FWDs with Setters swing etc.
- $221,100 PROFIT.

C) Risky option, better MID & FWD depth. Logue playing.

- Trade Setters > Logue.
- Shift Worpel to FWD bench, Duursma to MIDs.
- Logue has to play on-field. Reliant on Naish and Gardner for cover.
- FWD bench has no cover, but reliant on Worpel/Gray DPP Danger/Dunkley/Kelly.
- $101,300 PROFIT.

D) Play it safe, same $$ as above, terrible FWD bench, Logue DEF bench.

- Trade Setters > Logue.
- Shift Gardner to FWDs. Logue sits on bench alongside Naish.
- FWD bench has no cover with Gardner and Young, but reliant on Worpel/Gray DPP with Danger/Dunkley/Kelly.
- $101,300 PROFIT.

E) Risky option, less $$. BEST MID & FWD depth. Logue playing.

- Trade Answerth > Logue.
- Shift Duursma > MIDs to sit alongside Worpel on bench. Worpel can switch to FWDs with Setters. Super strong MID/FWD depth.
- $73,400 PROFIT.

F) Play it safe, less $$, Worpel DPP, Logue bench.

- Trade Answerth > Logue.
- Shift Setters to MIDs, Gardner to FWDs. Logue sits on bench alongside Naish.
- Worpel stays as strong MID/FWD bench cover.
- FWD bench has no cover with Gardner and Young, but reliant on Worpel/Gray DPP Danger/Dunkley/Kelly.
- $73,400 PROFIT.

Hope that all makes sense! Am leaning towards option A, as it means I can immediately upgrade a Setters > Laird (swing Gardner FWD) if it looks like i'm bleeding points if Logue drops off in scoring. Any help and advice much appreciated! Cheers! :moustache:

Tomorrow, go to woolies, buy some Willy's Kid's bubble bath maker, fill the tub up with warm/hot water and add it in, hop in, sit back and think about it... the answer will hit you within 30 mins.

Anyone? LOL!. :moustache:

Lever didn’t play, mate. Knee soreness.
Hore had a couple or turnovers and two FAs, and he just didn’t get a lot of contested ball, he was down a fair bit on that front and down in possessions in general.
Was really low in H1, got a bit of it in H2 to salvage the 49.

10 trades 245k already have Logue and Hind.
Need to go Wilkie down to some sort of playing rookie to fund Hayes to Boak.
Need Rotham and Fort to get named to make more cash, not hopeful on either.

Logue vs Hind is the key question for me this week

Lots of people talking about Logue's JS but a few points in Hind's favour:
-should also have good JS, given Saints board liked his two games, and Saints suck
-not likely to get a shutdown role
-47k cheaper

May also suit me better to get in the mids, but if Logue is a must have then I could make it work.

With only 6 trades left I'm anticipating:
-O Baker downgrade
-Burgess downgrade
-Duursma/Bsmith/Moore upgrades (2 of those)
-Brouch/Rocky upgrade (1 of those)

One left over for sideways.

So I only have two downgrades left, possibly one to a 102k donut if necessary. Hence thinking the extra cash may be helpful.

Any strong opposition to Hind in?

Who will be more affected by a tag...

Jelly vs Clarke
Neale vs Harmes

??

Want to bring one in this week.
Forget this week. Consider who you want for remaining 9 weeks.

If I had more trades I’d seriously be looking at Yeo & Parker. Lycett looks an excellent forward/R3 cover. Ripping form.

Still need to downgrade ROB, so will prob bring the other in the next couple of weeks anyway..
Just hoping one will lose more cash
They both have high BE. Neale 100k cheaper is probably your better option right now

Hore to laird is a good trade mate, I think most are having trouble with the forward bench as there isn’t much there.

If I go Hore > Laird then only 2 trades left and just over $100,000 in the kitty.

I would then have to just go Burgess to a playing forward rookie as cover at some point LOL!

I might give Hore 1 more week to see if it was just a one off.

Probably a good idea mate, makes it hard with only 3 trades remaining

Gawn OUT.

I shall not explain my reasoning here, so as to grant you all full license to call me a campaigner without worrying whether I have a logical point or not.

Illogical. Indutiably.

I’d trade Grundy first. That campaigners a plodder.
