Looking back on my notes I was critical of him in defence pre-draft because he seemed pretty dependent on other people getting the ball to him rather than seeking it out (arguably the same issue up forward) so either we win in midfield and he could look amazing or we have ugly midfield clearances and he might fade away completely

I suppose we might as well see

Just seems like an out-and-out small forward and I don't think the game requires that anymore.

This is why we are in such a good spot right now. So much pressure from below. There is 5 or 6 genuine players that could come in if they play well in the SANFL today. Pressure on spots produces the best intensity on gameday.

Farrell was working on increasing his possession output and toughness at the contest in the sanfl. He did show improvement and was selected for AFL.

He has dropped off again and has to maintain his concentration. Playing on a wing tonight might help get him into more of the play.

Looking forward to this game. The midfield battle will be interesting as they have some high possession types in Hunter, Macrae and Dunkley but they are quite outside without Liber. We get on top in there and they are cooked.
