Round 16 Trades

I am currently ranked 299, which I am happy with. I am not sure whether to be aggressive and upgrade a Newman, Witts, or a Nankervis, or sit tight for now and let my cash cows fatten a bit more before making another trade. I was intending to trade in Gawn this round for Witts, but with only 5 trades left I am not sure if I can risk a trade on Gawn on the off-change he tweaks something.. thoughts?

Fwiw, Witts has had a sore shoulder and tweaked it again this week. Was apparently palming on the opposite late in the game.
Might be fine, but keep an eye on it.

In B, you've got three potentially ok midfield loop options for one spot and likely only the one up forward (Cox could spike one, seems less likely, though).
In A, you have two and two (Hibbo doesn't seem as likely), seems a better distribution.
Ade Fri night, Rich Sat night, WCE Sun, so a loop will work up fwd.
Bris Sat night, NM + Freo Sun, so you get to see how Witho goes before deciding on Sun before game.
(Ignored the DEF line, assumed less likely that would give you a score you'd take over a premo)

is it worth going witts to gawn? i dont really know if it is

To me Witts scoring looks like it max's out at 110, he consistent in that 85-100 bracket but compared to Max who is capable of 150+ the cost if you have the trades is minimal. The downside is if he gets injured again but there is also nothing to stop Witts getting injured either.

It's a tough one. Still had it 27 times and had 6 tackles which shows he is still getting plenty of it. But DE of 55% and 3 FKA hurt his score. I watched the game and was raging at him by the end of it but i think he might come good. 6 tackles is a good sign regarding his shoulder. I'm keeping for now.

I just am worried he is gonna lose another 50k then I'll have to make 2 trades just to get him to a decent premo

First time I watched Fyfe in awhile and was really disappointed with his effort.

It's how he has been all season mate, if you have stuck with him this long and he played up forward, what's one more week gonna do if he may play mid this week

Only thing is I have 6 trades left, still have Higgins scoring shit all lately, Fyfe and rocky doing jack shit.

Waiting on a Toby Punchface report. If he's really out 4-6 then I'll just sideways him to Gawn, shifting Ryder forward.

If he'll be back sooner, then Riewoldt to Gawn, but I need to use a second trade to fund that - thanks Roo, ya spud. That'll probably have to be Mountford to Witherden.

Anyone considering trading Sloane like me? Had him for the past 4 weeks and he's been putrid. Clearly can't handle a tag.

I have the option of trading him to Gawn, or trading Murphy for him, who turned it on yesterday and scored 110+. One has to go as I don't have enough cash to trade another to Gawn.

Can Sloane turn his form around at all? The most concerning was on numerous occasions his teammates didn't pass the ball to him when he was free and in space. It's like he's deliberately being used as a decoy to draw opponents and create space.

Thoughts?

Depends how finished your team is, and how many trades you have left.

If it's finished and you're not worried about trades, then you can bring him in this week as price is irrelevant.

If you will need to trade more, waiting is more sensible if you can make another better trade for your team.
