G'day guys and girls. Some advice would be handy. Considering not trading, but also considering Gawn. Now with Greenwood getting dropped I also want to consider getting another premium mid. Leaning towards not trading and waiting for a few potential bubble boys next week. Thoughts?

I think with the trades you have left and your bank, you gotta hold.

If you're going to trade, down Hannan to someone and go NRoo to Gawn via Nank .. or NRoo to Darcy via Nank for cash.

Depends...

If you're playing for league and comfortably in the top 4 then do the trade that sets you up for finals.

If you're in the hunt for overall then you avoid a donut at all costs.

Agreed! He's gone at the end of the year and GC know it. I can see him being in and out of the team on the run home so I'm seriously considering trading him too.

Was going to downgrade Stewart and then hold the upgrade, but with GAJ out and Scotty still out..... too many non players and not enough trades.

option 1: 2nd trade - scooter to Gawn (and bolton to mids, ryder to fwd)
option 2: cop a donut

only 5 trades left (so need to think to finals) and $8K in bank

Shaz -> Witherden

Leaves me a 'complete' team with 8 trades and 50k in the bank.
Have cover on each major line for this week - Witherden, Myers, Parsons

Next will upgrade someone to Greene in the forwards, pushing Steele/Nank to floater status.
Will also look to get one of Selwood/Sloane/Rockliff to push Fyfe to M9

Mountford -> Witherden
Riewoldt -> Gawn
even though I'll cop a doughnut for Toby Punchable. Assuming Punchable is back next week, then he'll only take a single game to make up the points difference over Riewoldt.

Round 16: Riewoldt 52, Greene 0
Round 17: Riewoldt 61, Green 115
Round 18: Riewoldt 33, Greene 106
Keeping Riewoldt = 146 points over next 3 rounds
Keeping Greene = 221 points over next 3 rounds

No brainer. There's also the slim hope that Eddy might be a late in and give me some cover for Punchy.

S.Bolton -> Yeo or Gawn

Should have 4 trades to upgrade Greenwood to a loophole option for Lynch, and save the rest for injuries or upgrades for shaw and fyfe.

Hold and take the doughnut... or hope Bolton or Greenwood is a late in.

You could trade Bolton to a Zurhaar, Drew or Atley to pocket some cash while (attempting to) avoid the doughnut, but you'll have to wait for tonight's teams selections as they're all extended bench at the moment. Then there's the issue of their job security. Josh Thomas is another option, but pricey at $193k, though he scored ok last week.

Bolton to Atley gives you $81,700 and avoids the 0, and also lets you turn cocksmoker Higgins into Macrae, or Hannerbery/Fyfe/Gray into Jelwood. Or you keep the cash for another day.

Why not Hannan --> Buzza ? At least he's playing (I think) and can easily make up that extra cash from downing to Bayok, if he does get the games. Plus, that'd be one less donut this week.

GDay champagner.
Buzz js prob shacky will depend on his form and if they put Harry back in defense.
He showed more than Stanley as a forward but thats not that hard really.
Need to see if buzza backs it this week.
