Pou was an almost player tonight. Had quite a few moments of being in the midst and rather then taking the game on he looked for other players and just put them under pressure.
If he was getting pinged for taking them on and doing crazy stuff I wouldnt have an issue as he will grow into doing that stuff and pulling it off but playing safe and being ineffective isnt helping the team at the moment.

Maybe not droppable.. but needs to be told to play his game more.

Won’t be at his best until he is 25-30

Need to give him another 2 years to get his body up to playing that fwd role

The funny thing about Marshall's game is he's actually been great all year except tonight our mids didn't give anyone here an excuse to crack it about his tap work.

You'd be crazy to trade him. We'd be better to fix the midfield to get less reliant on hard work to retain the ball inside 50 and start scoring.

Yeah, I don't think they are Marshall off challenging. The only clubs that would need him don't have the picks we'd want for him.

Best I have seen the midfield play for nearly all year..great signs that our coaching team can identify issues and work on them. Before tonight the midfield was a disaster.

They need to fix fwd entries though.

Even if it a cats like plan where we kick to the pockets to avoid corridor intercepts…with or without king we are getting killed by intercept markers.

We desperately need a big bodied fwd to help king next year…I fear for Membrys future, pray that Hayes can be that but most likely Heath plays more footy and Marshall helps fwd…?

Just making the point that list management is a balance and that sometimes to build a top 4 list you have sacrifice.

Losing 3 guys is bad enough because I'm pretty sure we would've tried to ease Billings and Jones into it rather than have them played the minutes they did. I thought they both had decent games.
Jones adds something a bit different to the other guys. Billings also worked himself into the game well. Kicked a really clutch goal too. I think their experience might help settle the team a bit. Maybe limit the amount of brain fades per game.

We need to make skills a priority.

Ross can have the best game plan in the world but if we kick it to the opposition we're always on the back foot.

The King injury hurts no doubt but we've won plenty without him.

Cordy is a VFL player and Ross probably should be there too.

We should get Battle, Hill and Higgins back next week.

We then have players like Clark returning to VFL footy tomorrow as well.

I can't see injuries being a huge factor.

It’s getting towards the end of a long season.
Most players will be carrying something.
Our younger players are feeling the wear and tear.
The two replacements this week are underdone.
Returning long term injured players will be too.
We are going to need to reinvent the forward line again.
Getting any additional injuries will have an amplified impact as a result of all of the above.

Not saying your wrong or I’m right, just saying that at some stage these things are cumulative.

Ross looked very relaxed in the box.
Given the situation, I reckon he wanted us to take risks tonight, which we certainly did.
And I reckon he wanted to see what the team could do in difficult circumstances.

I also reckon he learned a lot, because there was a lot to like.

We aren't getting Reid for him though. Everyone is worth trading for the right price but you need to actually look at what you'd likely get for them.
