Season on the line, I have a bad feeling about this one. Forward line a shambles, just can't see where enough goals will come from.

I have no idea what to expect. Last week was the best footy that we've played in months but lost another lot of best 22 players. We look like an ordinary side on paper but we are playing a side that is hot and cold. I can see a great win, a depressing capitulation or an honourable loss. Anything is possible.

Most sides between third and fifteenth are unreliable and we are well and truely in that group. That said we have a few excuses with injury but you need to fight through adversity if you want to break the mediocrity cycle.

Can’t see us kicking enough goals tbh. If the Suns kick 10 I think they win.

If we play like we did last week we will at least have a chance.

Just having a little look, 'twas in fact against the Suns earlier in the year that we kicked our highest score so far this season, 17.11.113 to 8.12.60. Higgins kicked five (!), two for Hammer, Hill and Owens, one for Butler, Cordy, Pou, Ross, Sinclair and Windy. It was Round Four, the last of our winning run to start the season.

I ain't no gambling man but just checking out the AFL site Match Centre, Suns pretty hot favourites at $1.56 vs the Saints at $2.39. Would've thought it's more of a 50/50 game than that, then again we're once more hit by injury, wildly inconsistent, and its their home game so I s'pose that's not too far off the mark.

Gold campaigners in chaos, we have more to play for. Let's make it 9 in a row against them.

Saints to break away in the second half. LFG

Probably a lot of punters jumping on the Suns due to the new coach bounce factor which has shortened their odds.

I would have it as a 50/50 game too, we have been a better team overall than the Suns this season but them playing at home evens out the ledger.

I don't think the new coach bounce will be a factor, it's which team plays better on the day and makes it count on the scoreboard, hopefully that's us.
