On my way in now. As others have stated, extremely keen to see how the kids go today.

Would be good if some of our supporters showed some enthusiasm at the ground today. Seems we just sit in silence as late.
Perhaps our 3peat has made us a little complacent. Must admit my care factor has certainly plummeted. Now is the time to sit back, chill out and watch the club rebuild for the next challenge.

The thing with Aussie rules, it is generally the influence of the umpire that impacts on noise of the crowd. I honestly think our fans have accepted getting a raw/questionable run from
The maggots

Looked like a number of our players last week felt the same way.

But we're not gonna live with fear, oh-wo-wo-wo.

Glad Doc was really dropped and not just Clarko dropped, then come in as a late change.

Whitecross unlucky!

Seems bizzare that I've just finished breakfast and am now settling in to watch the Hawks play. Just so used to night games.

Going to be an interesting game - will give us all a good look at what we can expect to see over the next couple of seasons

Pretty small crowd at the ground.

Maybe they're all queuing up for pies?

Quite a few local footy games on today which would take a few away, and our fans generally don't take their seats until the first bounce. I recall an Easter game a few years ago,
The stands were empty at the bounce. A minute later there was 70k

The queues outside don't help things with the security wands slowing things up compared to last year.

What is the point of having reserved seats if the club and MCG allow Adelaide supporters into our area? I am sitting next to two Adelaide supporters in gold class membership area! Bloody joke.

Friends lent them memberships?

One of the things our club doesn't do nearly as well as other clubs is the pre-game offering. I know our fan base isn't the feral type - but just give us anything to rev up the faithful. What about a montage of the 13 flag wins - what better way to get the crowd fired up. I mean I'd rather the club be successful and profitable - but this is something we lack a bit in.

I am loving how Roughie modifies leading the team through the banner due to his superstition of running through first.
