Houston's game as a midfielder has gradually declined.
Im gonna go with him being rusty. He made two or three uncharacteristically bad decisions last night.
Ill start to worry if its still an issue in round 4 or 5.

Go to their board. They still do.You noticed that as well .. did not the crows say he is the next best player for them ... maybe in their dreams LOL
Damn, Burton is out? Thought it was precautionary, him getting injured during games often is concerning
He looked completely lost out there. Or he doesn't want to be there.
Firstly, absolutely agree on Marshall’s field kicking and delivery inside 50. Secondly, Dixon got his hands to a lot of marking contests. He’s clearly not got the stickiest hands but he presented really well and he will have better crumbing players at his feet this year than previous years. Was great to see him kick three on Talia in the end, who tends to own him.So many positives: SPP was great with his pressure and locking the ball in, won't show in the stats but very impressive. Marshall outstanding, love his field kicking. Butters, Rozee, Duursma - particularly thrilled to see Duursma's celebration include showing off the pride in the PB. McKenzie looked composed and I wasn't concerned if the ball went in his direction.
Possible critique: Dixon had a first half to forget and while he did impact the game more in the second (loved his embarrassing Tex), the marking was a worry. Bonner also a little too willing to go to ground but it didn't cost us tonight.

Several Crows players took short steps in front of SPP last night.Very solid game.
Player were well up for it and played for the Guernsey, loved Duursma holding them up in his celebration.
1. Butters, oh Butters, what a player, tough, skilful and bloody annoying!
2. SPP, hopefully those that criminally underrated him will start to realise just how valuable he is, particularly when we play the smaller players like Rozee in midfield.
3. DBJ, rounds out the so solid crew threesome!
Love the headline
He locked in for 5 years perhaps he is out of position but I'm still waiting for evidence of this 'superstar'.
He has substantially matured. We have a keeper here. For me he is a taller, quicker, better kicking version of Ollie. Is SPP finally starting to work out his kicking? he hit some nice passes in that game
Plus he has an awesome haircutDBJ will be all Australian this year. He is so good at mopping up loose balls in defence and his composure in traffic is top shelf. One of the best handful for us last night.
Agree, he seems to have a nice kick, can take a mark on the lead when allowed but other than that he has nothing, no recovery no ground skills and no tank and a pretend tough guy. He's always going to suffer from the crows ranking system but he did look a good solid footballer. Certainly no superstar.
Now he looks like a parklands player.
Bonner is still shit.
