You noticed that as well .. did not the crows say he is the next best player for them ... maybe in their dreams LOL
Go to their board. They still do.

They just cant decide if they should make him a dominant key forward or a Brownlow medal winning midfielder.

So many positives: SPP was great with his pressure and locking the ball in, won't show in the stats but very impressive. Marshall outstanding, love his field kicking. Butters, Rozee, Duursma - particularly thrilled to see Duursma's celebration include showing off the pride in the PB. McKenzie looked composed and I wasn't concerned if the ball went in his direction.

Possible critique: Dixon had a first half to forget and while he did impact the game more in the second (loved his embarrassing Tex), the marking was a worry. Bonner also a little too willing to go to ground but it didn't cost us tonight.
Firstly, absolutely agree on Marshall’s field kicking and delivery inside 50. Secondly, Dixon got his hands to a lot of marking contests. He’s clearly not got the stickiest hands but he presented really well and he will have better crumbing players at his feet this year than previous years. Was great to see him kick three on Talia in the end, who tends to own him.

Very solid game.
Player were well up for it and played for the Guernsey, loved Duursma holding them up in his celebration.

1. Butters, oh Butters, what a player, tough, skilful and bloody annoying!

2. SPP, hopefully those that criminally underrated him will start to realise just how valuable he is, particularly when we play the smaller players like Rozee in midfield.

3. DBJ, rounds out the so solid crew threesome!

He locked in for 5 years perhaps he is out of position but I'm still waiting for evidence of this 'superstar'.

He's always going to suffer from the crows ranking system but he did look a good solid footballer. Certainly no superstar.

Now he looks like a parklands player.

Agree, he seems to have a nice kick, can take a mark on the lead when allowed but other than that he has nothing, no recovery no ground skills and no tank and a pretend tough guy.

Their kids are absolute garbage. I can’t think of one that shows anything.

years of pain, bring it on, I want a Carlton style slump.

Bonner is still shit.

I disagree, but I do think we need to be more flexible with his matchups.

He is the obvious matchup for a fast small forward however if he is not needed in that role he should be on the wing hitting our forwards on the chest with 50 metre kicks. We need to mix it up more.

Anyway, I'd like to thank the Channel 7 news team for giving us the rocket we needed. Good job.

Eddie, I dare you to face us in the prison bars, I don't think you have the guts.

"I think every time you put it on it means a lot and you're representing more than just yourself," Boak said.

God I love him.

He should go down in our top 5 AFL players for the combined on and off field impact and professionalism during dark times.

Sorry i'm late!

Wish they could give out half a Dozen showdown medals after last night. Boak, Motlop, Rozee, Butters, Xavier and DBJ all deserved one of their own imo.

With Marshall, you can see the kids got lots of footy smarts, and is a quick thinker. Even before he takes possession he's already thinking about his next move. The moves can be quite creative.

One thing that sets him apart from other forwards.

They were short stepping all night, whether it was to avoid contact with SPP or with Butters. This is the softest team the crows have ever put on the park. No heart, no toughness, Weak.
