Woke up this morning, wondering if last night actually happened - I still can't quite believe it.

SPP has always performed the defensive, physical side of the game to a high AFL level. His composure and kicking has let him down but he is only 50 odd games into his career. People need to give him time to develop and he is showing that he responds to feedback and works on his game. The only thing that has surprised me this year is SPP's form. He is getting in better spots and playing more like an AFL player. Having said that he only had 11 touches this week, so might be about to fall off a cliff again.
I would feel a lot more comfortable about Wines leaving if SPP can have a solid year, someone needs to do the in and under stuff while the young guys fill out.
Only 11? Gee, I think SPP is one of those players whos impact is notable even when he doesn't get much of the ball, just such a presence around the ground. His kick to the advantage of Motlop I believe in the last quarter who outbodied Tom Lynch was just dirty from Sam. Looking forward to see where his game goes this year.He played a bloody good 11 possession game. He understands his role very well now and is all about the team.
So we have 3 games to play in the Gold Coast, and Crows have 4.Very solid result. Highest score kicked in the round so far. Very good goal conversion. Many areas that can still be improved upon, but it was a stellar effort seeing that they had not played a game for 12 weeks. I have a feeling that the GC hub will only strengthen them.
Nice BOG for Butters there tooPower slaughter Crows in record Showdown

The gulf between Port Adelaide and Adelaide has seldom been greater than it is in 2020.www.theage.com.au

And Duursma second best for Port. Two second year players in the top 2. That says something.Nice BOG for Butters there too
Big pity we only play one this season. I'm keen to get to the right side of that ledger asap. The Showdown ledger is now 24-24. We have a perfect opportunity to create a huge lead over the next few years.
It can begin its rightful life as a cheese platterThat Showdown Shield needs to be scrapped, it's got our old logo on it.
Found a scratch match review from Crows but can’t find a Port one yet.
Wonder if Wines played?
Wayne Milera did well signing that big contract he's just an average footballer

He locked in for 5 years perhaps he is out of position but I'm still waiting for evidence of this 'superstar'.He looked completely lost out there. Or he doesn't want to be there.
Set up other scores from ruck stoppages, brought the ball to ground when outnumbered several times, competed and laid a couple of brutish tackles.Honestly, if that's a bad game from Charlie he's in a good place. Still managing to kick three should be a celebrated achievement. It's exactly what you need a full forward to do.
It's being underrated. The only player we've had who could reliably get a few goals whilst being quiet at the same time has been Schulz. Even the great Tredders wasn't a stranger to donuts on his off days.
