Just a total ruthless domination, like playing a videogame on easy mode.

They scored 1 goal that wasn't the direct result of a string of Port mistakes. We were consistently first to the ball and took it away from them with ease when they did get it.

The defensive workrate across the ground was amazing. Ebert on paper should have the shakiest spot in our forward line but his workrate and willingness to get to contests and provide options is so vital.

I think we might find things a bit tougher against a good side who will punish us more for our mistakes, but it was the first game in 2 months with no practice matches. Great effort. I love the balance of our side at the moment.

Houston's game as a midfielder has gradually declined.

With Rozee's emergence we don't need him there like we did last year. Time to get him back into defence where he belongs.

The only thing that has surprised me this year is SPP's form. He is getting in better spots and playing more like an AFL player. Having said that he only had 11 touches this week, so might be about to fall off a cliff again.

I would feel a lot more comfortable about Wines leaving if SPP can have a solid year, someone needs to do the in and under stuff while the young guys fill out.

Fox showed a group of Crows supporters at the oval, and there was an old lady knitting. One cannot make that up!

But the best was their open support for the PB's. They've shown a banner and, later on, they called us "the black-and-white."

Quick shoutout to Brad Ebert as well. Most of this board had him written off after a couple of poor practice matches, but he's come back averaging 17 touches and a goal over his first two games, more than handy numbers especially considering the shortened quarters. Playing his role and deserves his spot.

Looked good with his customary head bandage....

We're going alright when your lowest ranked player kicked 3 goals!
Honestly, if that's a bad game from Charlie he's in a good place. Still managing to kick three should be a celebrated achievement. It's exactly what you need a full forward to do.

It's being underrated. The only player we've had who could reliably get a few goals whilst being quiet at the same time has been Schulz. Even the great Tredders wasn't a stranger to donuts on his off days.

Is SPP finally starting to work out his kicking? he hit some nice passes in that game
You can almost see the cogs turning at times as he slows down for the step or 2 before kicking.

What a great team man. Tackles hard and never stops running.

From Marshall's first goal in Q1 to Brodie Smith's goal in Q3, it was all Port.
