Considering how we started I actually think we finished that quarter really well. Up against the best, got swarmed by outstanding pressure and we were crumbling as a result. Ball use is still horrific but we haven’t dropped our heads, got better as the quarter went on and the scoreboard could’ve been so much worse.

good test this one

Really could have used Scrimshaw in a game like this.

Plays off half-back, laser-like kicking. Needed that class off the boot in this kind of game.

Probably his first massive mistake of the season unless i am forgetting one?

Definitely improving

He has had a couple of poor turnovers in dangerous places on the ground. Can't afford them when you have Scrimshaw in reserve.

Decision making and disposal has been underwhelming. Luck to be 3 goals down - could get ugly if we don’t lift our intensity- not to mention our efficiency.

We’re actually going ok i reckon. Plenty of the ball, the intent is good.
As ever, just need to crack the Richmond defence.
Probably just me, but good signs..

Richmond play a solid game, definitely one to beat atm.

Curious though what they would look like without Dusty. He just drives them forward relentlessly.

Players with far more games to their name, are making more/worse skill errors than CJ.

Phillips, for example, so far has the worse disposal efficiency on ground, with 6 disposals at 16% efficiency...

Jiath isn't on his own. O'Meara and Phillips have had quarters they would like to forget. Breust fumbled in front of goal. O'Brien has not had a stat, I don't think. Howe ignored a wide open Day to kick to Ollie when he was telling Howe to kick it to Day. Ceglar and McEvoy have been destroyed by nankervis.

Jeepers, errors have killed us so far. Clanger central!

Worps is trying his guts out though and Kosi is pushing up to provide a target

Fair play to Richmond though, they defend the ground almost perfectly; making us take bigger risks

Our ball movement is VERY predictable. Our kicks around half back are hanging in the air and Richmond are punishing it beautifully. Going forward, we're playing straight into their spare.

We're actually winning it a bit on the inside. Just have to be brave and quick because Richmond will just grind out this slow kicking game.

Kosi is getting to lots of great spots and CJ is positioning himself really well despite some clangers.

Trying to be way to cute with the football! basic fundamental errors and bizarre handballing. The structure is okay just getting killed with our turnovers.

Up fwd needs a adjustment. Kosi is trying his guts out. The rucks and tob are non exisent up fwd on the lead or aerial.

We're not doing too badly all things considered- tightening up on some of these skill errors and we're in a solid spot.
Our movement into 50 is baffling though, need to lower the eyes and not bomb away.
That last line could sum up our foward line strategy for the last 5 years to be honest
