I know I'm pretty much Robinson Crusoe here, but I'd love to see Pistol Pete get a run this week. I didn't see last week's game but, reading this site, Grundy still wasn't looking great and I don't like Amartey in the ruck.
I know most would prefer McLean in, but there's just something about the crazy guy that I like.
If we're doing 2 of the 3 ruck/KPF types I wouldn't mind Ladhams and Buller joining Amartey.

Not sure about Rampes key quotes
not focused on scoreboard or ladder at the moment lol

Doesn't define us
He is garbage infront of cameras and what he talks.

Respect the bloke highly but come on mate stop the bullshit. I feel like he is a spokes person for swans at times

Better to peak in September than in June or July like last year
Now all we have to do is make finals.😳😳
Take it to the bank TMac will be back this week , Paps will play just dealing with some soreness , 3rd game in for him
Paps has been watching more than we have.
If he’s out there he needs to do something.
Sick of all the excuses he carries into poor games.

Hoping this is one of those games where I go into it expecting a loss and then am pleasantly surprised when we get up.
Feel like we haven't dropped too many at Optus Stadium, any statisticians on here can tell me our win:loss there?

How Papley escapes getting dropped I don't know.

Why drop one of our few matchwinners? Goes real well on that ground.
Poor form, lack of effort, sets a standard and makes others think twice about leaving the hard work up to someone else.

Would rather someone put in effort all game so there's less need for someone to turn it on for a quarter.

6 wins 3 losses

If we follow normal form McLean, Jordon, Ladhams and Warner will be the bench with Mitchell sub. Paton, Sheldrick and Buller the emergencies.
Hopefully that means McCartin plays back, McLean and Ladhams forward.
Jordon will tag Brayshaw or Serong unless Longmuir plays Serong forward again. Wicks on Bolton?
Hopefully that's the real team.

Was I watching a different game last week, or did Serong not play forward? I don't really get where the narrative came from that he was played forward.

He had 71% CBAs, 11 clearances, won 56% of his possessions in the defensive half, didn't win a single possession inside 50. Felt like he was at every stoppage I saw.

I'd be happy to give Buller a run. 23 yr old 199cm KF who actually shows forward craft and a marking ability in the 2's. I think you have to have a look at what that looks like at Senior Level at some point, might be nothing but should atleast look and if not now with all our injuries, when?

I seriously hope we're not considering bringing in McLean & Ladhams both into the side. One or the other I could live with but not both.
In addition to Grundy that's virtually playing 3 rucks. Never seen 3 rucks work, infact last time we tried was 112, but when you consider in addition our KF would be Amartey who is an athlete type not a natural forward...that's 4 talls but none really natural forwards. Recipe for disaster imo, especially with the quality of their Key backs.

Agree that the “norm” is for the last 3 players named in the extended bench to be axed.

I’m just a bit disappointed if we bring in McLean AND Ladhams. I just don’t feel loading up on talls in the forward line is a prudent strategy against Freo.
