Are the NBs playing yet and if they are can any of the boys play in the team so they get an extra week into them. Especially AndyMac and Robbo. Really hoping that Jeppy steps up in this match as he was woeful on Sunday night.

My new team at giving it some thought.

B: Tuohy, Watson, Jamison
HB: Yarran, Henderson, McInnes
C: Thomas, Gibbs, Simpson
HF: Everitt, Waite, Ellard
F: Menzel, Casboult, Garlett
R: Kreuzer/Warnock, Murphy, Curnow
I/C: Bell, Lucas, Graham, Scotland (Sub)

Scotland can play anywhere and at his age he is well suited for the sub role. Should be our designated sub in my opinion.

We need Casboult to play or we as well not bother kicking it long anymore.

Lucas to provide extra run.

Graham to play a full game from the get go.

Lets give Mcinnes and Watson another chance. We really need our back line to gel and we can't have players rotating in and out of it every 2nd game.

Simpson had 25 disposals and 6 clearances last week so we should keep him in the midfield.

This team makes me look forward to have someone like Docherty with good footskills coming into the team soon. All of the bolded have questionable disposal and let's hope that Thomas kicking improves dramatically in rd 2.

I didn't watch the Carlton game last week, only listened off and on. Was the negative performance review of Watson overblown by the media/non Carlton supporters ?

Westhoff tore him a new one.

Watto comes good after a decent run. I suspect he will be persisted with this year.

You're kidding right????

Could be the best swingman in the game...

Great hands, smart and a massive tank...

A GRADER
I suppose. I've got to forget the inconsistent lanky promising player he was a few years ago that I watched play some horrible games.

Report on the Richmond board that Vickery, Cotchin and Hampson are under an injury cloud.
Take it with a grain of salt as the report came from Trout from Woodend (a passionate Richmond supporter who is a regular SEN caller).
Thats false , all trained well today and looked fine

For everyone dropping Warnock, listen to Mick's comments post game. He's going nowhere. Kreuzer will be played as a forward/ruck. Mick said it himself.

Against Hammer, Kreuzer will get tossed around as he is a monster with a huge leap...

Robbie is the key to stoppages and first use which we crave!

I like kreuzer and see him as decent ruckman if he is given the sole responsibility as number 1 and some time to master it. But I just don't see him as a forward. 50 odd goals in 6 years isn't enough.

Somebody asked before, but it needs to be asked again: What's happened to Armfield? Didn't play for either team on the weekend, iirc. Does he have an injury?

Have a feeling Hampson, If he plays, will have a blinder. His first and probably his last for the Richmond footy club.
Reckon he'll do better as primary ruck than he did forced as a key forward.

The Kreuzer vs Warnock debate here makes me wonder if people are talking about reputation or what they actually saw during the only real game we've played this season. Does anybody have stats on how clearances went when each was rucking?
