This is a hard one to pick. The result will depend on which Fremantle will turn up. If we play like we did last week then Essendon will win. But if alot of the people who had very average games against the Dogs like Pav, McPharlin, Sandilands, Crowley, Grover play well then we are in with a big chance.

I'm going to say Essendon by less then 10 but thats purely because i honestly don't know which team will win.

I'm glad, as an essendon supporter, we have Freo this week. Our midfield is severely lacking physicality with McV, Welsh and now Lonergan out. Against most teams we would cop an absolute hiding in the guts but fortunately Freo have a lot of smaller bodies in there too.

Should be a good game but I'm confident Essendon will win with a more orthodox structure than last week.....and another game into Davey and Lucas....

Freo has a terrible list IMO and don't usually play very well away so Im going with Ess to win here, by between 10 and 25 points.

It will be interesting to see where Lloyd and Lucas play this week I think they should be FF and CHF, with Davey or Lovett or someone in there roving. It will also be interesting to see how Haselby goes this year he is one of my fav players.

Freo will win this one. After years of terrible list management, Freo are finally making some small steps forward. Essendon still have huge midfield problems, a weak defense, and are now looking for a KP forward option to replace Lucas and Lloyd. Freo are an improving side, Essendon still have a few steps backwards yet. Freos midfield and forwards will be just too good. Freo by 35 points.
