As a lover of watching footy games, the Pies have by far and away been the best value team to watch their footy games over the past 3 years. The amount of tight finishes they've been involved with has been staggering and something I've never seen before and the majority of those games have been so enthralling to watch right up until the final siren, so I say kudos to them!.... and deserved luck to them for winning the flag last year.

I was just thinking at half time that the way we were coming unstuck was overpossessing, one too many handballs, a couple too many steps. Trying to get it through three players' hand before getting it out of the square, or the extra second to steady and pinpoint a target seemed like a recipe for disaster when we were out of our skill and talent division against our star-studded opponents in the midfield.

It seemed to me like the perfect game for Danger to underline the value of his 'get it, run, hoof it' metres gained style. If ever there was a dry weather game to play for territory, that was it.
