He’s my D1...what was I thinking? Byrne-Jones got a 114 if you’re looking for a Port defender in that price range also ownership of 0.7% vs 29.4% for Houston.
I preferred Byrne-Jones, over Houston, but Houston was dual position and supposedly going to play more in the midfield. Had Byrne-Jones in my team but went Houston in the end. A fail so far but it’s been only one game

Anyone who is taking this serious will just order by cash cows and trade in the highest available option.

You've basically got two trades every Round.

Cash is king.

This is ****ing insane

5.3% of teams have traded in a guy debuting who has played 2 games in 5 years

I hope he gets dropped next week

Super disappointed in the defence but at least willing to give them another go, except BSmith who can make a ton of cash to Doedee.

Then some rookie sideways'ing:
BZT probably out so him to Noble.
Cavarra -> Sturt
and maybe Green -> Rivers/Bennell (probably hold off this week pending a watch of Rivers/Bennell and use Green to loop)

Then can either go:
NicNat -> Gawn
or
Andy Brayshaw -> Dusty

What are people's thoughts on those options?

You're doing well if these are the priorities!

I'm giving Smith another go as his score was injury affected. I like the upgrading to keeper strategy, another option is to go more agressively on cash generation as we have a few trades. If you have a lot of money for these upgrades do you have enough for Green -> Long or upgrade your R3 to Naismith/Jacobs this week (if picked) or Pittonet next week?

Thanks!

Pretty much no cash atm hence Smith trade would fund all of it.
Got Ceglar and Cameron in fwd line so happy to wait for r3 upgrade at the moment.

In which case, an extra keeper is a great idea. Out of the two, I'd err towards Dusty as Gawn's BE is high and will Jackson share the rucking load with Gawn.

First year playing but already in dire straits by the seems of it. Can anyone please help me ahead of Round 2. I’m up against the warehouse’s reigning champ this week and want to have as best a shot I can. Naismith a potential out has broken my brain and I don’t know what to do.

P.S am willing to use as many trades as necessary

A few about to have big price rises

Try and have a DPP at your R3

Conroy to Cameron
Cunningham to Howe
Sharpe to T.Brown
Cumming to Dodee

Last trade is hard to assess, without knowing your cash position ....should have a bit in the bank, given your selection of Naismith and side on paper
