Worst part is we expected it. Still hurts.

Lewis taylor turning into a spud hurts, given he was compensation for part of the GH5. Constant cycle of mediocrity.

Schache and Hipwood look buggered.

Yeah, I suppose trading potential that we've destroyed for Potential we will destroy won't work. Agree need new coaches.

i don't think it matters what we do, we are not going to be a better team soon unfortunately. time to be bold this off season. plan for success in 4-6 years.

We have lost before and still lost the tackle count. Tragic

So thought I check for a team that looses each week we also do not tackle.
Out of 19 rounds we won tackles 9 times under 50% and two of those where by 1 tackle.
We won it against Rnd1 Eagles (15), Dogs (15) , Tigers (7), Magpies (6), Roos (5), Port (4), suns (3), Dockers (1), Blues (1),
Last week
Port got 59 tackles we only had 289 disposals. vs 403 disposals and 63 tackles they touched it over 100 more then us. and we tackled 4 more times.
Do the maths.

Lester, Dawson not up to it.
NRobbo on notice, much as I like the kid. Can't go THAT missing!
Time for Green, Gardiner, Taylor to be traded. I used to like Dizzy but is game is 1 dimensional and even in that area sometimes (like tonight) he gets smashed.
Hopefully if we trade Green, Gardiner, Taylor and Rockliff, get a priority pick, and a new coaching panel, we have some future.

Thought Robbo was average tonight, would like to see him freed up for the remaining matches
Agree re lester and Dawson, but wont get anything for them and would be better with more experience around them, depth players
Nick played out of position, gotta put some blame on Lepptisch for that tonight
Dizz match up all wrong, Taylor I want to see on the wing again and out of the forward line
Only player I would punt next year is Green. De listings West, McGuiness, Watts, Clarke, Merrett, Cian Hanley

read on a thread on the main board, we had an average of 66 games per player experience tonight and the demons had an average of 68 and beat the 3 time reigning premiers.

sort of puts our plight in perspective.

Don't really feel anything and it is annoying. At least when I use to get angry and frustrated it meant the passion I felt for the club still existed. Not anymore unfortunately. I am sure it will return(Most likely Round 1 next year after an off season in which I gain false optimism) but it is strange and kind of sad watching tonights performance and not feeling anything as someone who has been a member/die hard fan for decades.

I don't read or remember everything that goes on here but I haven't seen anyone claim he should be given another extension.

There is at least some competitiveness at the Lions. The seniors tried very hard (and succeeded) in outdoing the reserves - 138 pt loss to 135 pt loss.

So if qld goes back to a 1 team state will it be the suns or the lions that stay? With both our teams bottoming out the suns could argue they have staying rights.

1 actual comment on the game. I watched the whole second quarter bits of 1st and 3rd.

In the second about half way through the quarter we had 33% kicking efficiency. And it was no surprise as we'd win a scrap on defensive 50 and the player would just literally throw it on boot without looking. (Commentators mentioned same once or twice). Two occasions it was Rockliff who did it, others a mix of young and old. Other thing was handballing to a player in worse position often stationary.

Obviously confidence at a big low at the moment but it was horrendous footy to watch, basically watching little league style play.
