But we did send Shadeau there this time. In past years they’ve come up here

So if we look at AFL experienced players we have Answerth, Prior, Madden and McKenna to bring in possibly. Leaving aside skill and ability, the obvious knock on all of them is cm.

I have a feeling we might bring Sharpie in and send Bez down back. He can lock down on any one of their talls and effectively tag them out of the game. I'd back his strength over King any day.

And I think Prior comes in with Smith as the sub and Reville starting. If Prior struggles we swing Smith in and try Hippy down back.

Fages will want to go with experience and will bank on the mids and wings getting back to flood the defensive zone. I can't see him making drastic changes without absolute necessity.

Just double checked, and against Sydney, Prior apparently had 33 disposals and Noah had 25 and 5 tackles.

This would have been the perfect opportunity for Hardwick to bring Day or Casboult in to really stretch our 3rd tall e.g. Prior or Starce. We are fortunate they are injured as I could see Prior or Starce handling Walter much better at this stage.

I feel like bringing Fort in for Smith, and then going small down back is the way. Give Lester the job and bring in a Prior to play tall. Keep the forward line structure as it is, if King is getting out of hand then swing Hipwood back, play Fort as the second ruck and leave Dannihers up forward.

I think initially Fages will back in the mids to generate us the territory victory. We should also expect Neale and Dunkley to be chomping at the bit to bounce back after a quiet week.

A side note on Brain, he seems like he is almost an exact replica of Coleman. Excellent disposal, decision making and also taking intercept marks standing in the hole. What a find he is has been. Big wraps on what I have seen so far.
