Carlton beating the Pies and us beating the Hawks looks a little different now

Not quite in the same league as; sparrowsfart.
If early doors is a thing then why do we never hear anyone refer to late doors. Also, “early doors” must be the dumbest saying of all time
Early doors sounds like someone misheard "her indoors" ie the wife.If early doors is a thing then why do we never hear anyone refer to late doors.
I love The Doors but they were no good after Morrison died. Also, “early doors” must be the dumbest saying of all time
Yep, I’d give up on Pato in the wing, but get him back to that BP role where he was superb in his early days prior to Roughy’s tackle. He might need to play scoobs, but if he’s good enough to get that going again, then he could be good back fill for Jimmy who is hardly a spring chicken.Paton had a season where he was shutting down the Toby Greenes and Papleys of the world. Webster was getting a bath from Bruest and Ross didn’t put Stocker on him because he knows he’s not capable so I’m not really sure of what Stocker is capable of doing if he’s going to be a backman.
Clark a big part tooIf you read this forum closely every goal we've conceded since 1974 can be traced back to either Gresham or Howard.
We must be good earlyThey've got Hopper definitely out, probably Rioli too I think. Dusty and Cotch will be fresh after a rest though.
If Dimma were there he'd have them up, dangerous and still believing they can make finals; however last night I thought they looked like they've put the cue in the rack for the year.
Yeah, I agree with this. Stocker is "a work in progress" and may have a couple of things to work on still, but he has been a very savvy pick up for us. Some of his games this year have been very good. There is provable and demonstrable upside with persevering with him at the moment, and definitely warrants another contract (he's also inexpensive)So you've inferred from Ross' willingness to keep Webster on Breust last week and Stockers omission from the Friday 5 pm team, that he's likely to be delisted?
Or is it the above, in combination with a poor season?
He was far from our worst last week and has been really solid all year. For a young guy who's come in as a rookie effectively, with some health struggles, he's locked down a spot in a very effective defence the whole season and arguably, kept out Patto. I'm pretty bullish on him going forward...
Can we buy this and why not?
Nah, going topless. Are we wearing a jumper for retro round?
I heard the hawks are firming. Not the most reliable sourcesSomeone on SS wrote that Gresham won’t be at Carlton next year.
Yes all their fans are firm tofaybafter knocking off the pies today.I heard the hawks are firming. Not the most reliable sources
I love a good malapropism.To continue the grammar gripes;
“For all intensive purposes”
“One foul swoop”
“Seize to exist”

Enjoy“The proof is in the pudding”
and my personal “favourite” - versing.
Chance Bateman was the one who taught Dal to his major lesson. Ross just reinforced the message.Ross dropped Dal Santo back in 2009 who like Billings was a talented but soft left footer, Dal bounced back with a harder edge, hopefully Billings can.
Paton has shown he was a very good small defender and it's time to play him in his best position.Yep, I’d give up on Pato in the wing, but get him back to that BP role where he was superb in his early days prior to Roughy’s tackle. He might need to play scoobs, but if he’s good enough to get that going again, then he could be good back fill for Jimmy who is hardly a spring chicken.
We win the midfield we win the game - we showed it against the hawks and with the King and Hill only gives us more fire power to get the goals on the board.Everything up until this point of the season is water over a fence, but if we lose tomorrow, I will be prostate with grief.
