We win it, rather than have them lose it.

We won it because we were in front when it mattered. And had a solid lead when their inevitable charge came. Pendles won it for us doing what he does best, winning the contested possessions and being clean in the clinches in the last ten minutes. Can’t ask for any more.

Amazing to beat the the grubs! I thoroughly enjoyed the way it all panned out.

They would have already conceded the loss after Jamie kicks the first of the last. But to then give them the hope and belief that they could win and take that away was glorious.

What a brilliant game.
Up by 5 goals but beating them like that would not have broken their hearts enough so we let them get back into the game.
Then Cameron, who played a blinder of a game decides in the last 30 seconds not to compete so Carlolton can get their hopes up one last time.
Our defence lets McGovern take a mark knowing he will miss and truly tear the hearts out of all those Bloose supporting scum bags.
Our Coach is a genius.

We were vintage 2022-23 for just under 3 quarters. Momentum changed when JDG went off. He was brilliant forward of the ball and the Blues struggled to match him. Unfortunately his replacement wasn't like for like. Naicos, Pendles, DC were huge. The forward pressure was off the charts. Loved Coxy's game. Our midfield tired and were MIA in the last which allowed the Blues to have 24 I50s in the last. Congratulations to the Pies for coming to play for Pendles 400th game and beating the scum. Nothing better. Ned Long was once again used as a defensive mid. Unfortunately he wasn't in the same postcode as his opponents. Next week will be massive
