Autopsy Round 21: Hawks plough the GWS snowflakes

The Squiggle has crowned us as the strongest side in the comp on the back of our amazing defence.

Especially amazing due to us not having any quality youth and relying on old players who are cooked.

Yet we’re out of the eight. Our poor conversion for goal stat is probably killing us.

I cannot agree. I think she is articulate and 20 times better than most of the moronic male boundary riders. I like her comments. Bonus - she’s cute. Cut her some slack please

7s Team is as a whole is poor, BT can go with Daisy.. as bad as each other in my eyes, I cringe listening to BT literally make names up and pretend he knows injuries and the same with Daisy when she jumps in over someone else or interviews players/coaches, it’s god awful awkward, she waffles on longer than those she’s interviewing.

Watching it at the ground I thought we were in total control pretty much all night. The margin at half time flattered them and we played the conditions perfectly.

Could not fault any player out there last night. Sicily and Worpel were the standouts but Chad, Shiels, Smith, Hendo, Silk, Cegs, Poppy, Stratts, Timmy, Nash, Chip and Bruest were all excellent contributors.

Thought Lewis showed great work rate and the 2 goals he got were well deserved as he was getting man handled all night by Davis.

CJ did some good things and once he settled into the game looked like he belonged.

Well done boys!

Jags went at 27% DE for his 18 possessions, our next worst was Worps at 48% however he had 31 touches and 8 clearance in comparison to jags who only had 2 clearances. Was a shocker for Jags, luckily Chad and Sheila both stepped up and were excellent.

Is that because Jags is being heavily tag every week. Of course that allows Chad and Sheils to do their thing. Can’t wait to get TOM back.

I don’t trust DE% at all in a game like last night.

Worpel took ground at every opportunity, and we kicked goals as a consequence yet his DE suffered for it.

Love how everyone enjoying the game last night. When the defenders focusing on ML (double teamed him, man handled him), TOB stand up, grab the mark and kick some goals.

Who doesn't want to play for Clarko after last night?

It must be just me, but every time the camera focusing on Whitfield I read his face as saying "How fun it is to play for the Hawks" ;).

She’s got a bigger forehead (fivehead) than Rhianna 😂

No need to make personal comments about her - we should be better than that. She is though a very very vanilla football commentator. I turn the station when she comes on - her monotone voice nearly puts me to sleep
