The faster this game is over the better. The conditions are crap. The opposition are a false indicator of what we will be facing in the finals. The result is almost inconsequential given that slipping to 4th is arguably better than staying 3rd. All the game presents us with the possibility to sustain injuries. Lets just grind out a win with a minimum of fuss and be done with it.

Sicily has been good, works hard and gets into space which is what you want to see from a young player. Howe been involved a bit also but has a case of the fumbles. Doesn't look out of place though, some time in the gym will go a long way for him.

Sicily is hard working today, but as a Box Hill regular I know that some days he tries hard, then other days he can't be arsed, which is the Grimley personality. Hope it changes with more senior game time.
Would also love to see Daniel Howe more on the ball. Startling that he was picked so late as well as an overager (so missed out completely 1 year). He hasn't been showing it today but he's as silky and classy as any other senior Hawthorn player. Very much can replace Burgoyne.

On the other side, Gibbo has been really frustrating and I can't stand how damaging we can make some spuds look in our D50. 17 I50s for 11 scoring shots to the worst offensive team in the AFL. Luke McGuane looking like a mobile dangerous forward, so frustrating.
