Something thats creeped into the game.

Anyone else noticed that a lot of players when tackled with the ball with no prior are simply not even bothering to even try and get rid of the ball anymore. They just stare at the umpire. This too me is every bit of holding the ball. If they dont make an effort out of laziness and are intent on telling you how to do your job its HTB

Coaches have instructed this for years.

Most attempts to get rid of the ball at that point will end up as with incorrect disposal or a turnover.

Take the punt the ump won't call HTB instead.
