How many of you sooking it up tipped us to win 10 games ?

It's a fair point but I'm not sure anyone can begrudge this fan base of being impatient.

It always seems to be a building year for us, going on 20 years without a finals win.

We have probably over delivered on where we saw ourselves in the preseason, my question is though when do we actually plant a stake in the ground and say we are ready.

Brad saying if stringer gets through training today he will be in.

Would love the package to kick 6 on these hopeless campaigners but in reality he will labor around the field for 3 quarters, ending up with 8 disposals and a behind and flare up the fasciitis again :(
But his kids will officially be ours too :)

I know what you are saying but you also have to acknowledge that when key personal change you go back a few steps. We have been building for 15 years but it has not just been one big long build. We where going along in the right direction until we blew ourselves up with the saga . Then we tried to top up and at the end of 2020 there was a clear stake put in the ground . Two years later we sack the coach. Change presidents . Chance CEO and double the football department spend. That is another clear stake in the ground. We also add a GM of performance.
We can not say we are ready as we have hired new staff to build the side after previous staff failed. We can bemoan the fact that the previous lot managed to **** things up a few times but the previous lot are gone. There is a new system in place. We can do nothing but wait and see how this one pans out. It may well fall over again but it will not be because we did the same again.

What I want.

Out: Heppell (manage), Phillips (manage), Caldwell (inj)

In: Baldwin, Setterfield, Stringer

FB: Hind Zerk Cox

CHB: Redman Baldwin McGrath

C: Durham Setterfield Martin

CHF: Perkins Stringer Tsatas

FF: Menzie Wright Langford

R: Bryan Parish Merrett

Int: Laverde Guelfi Hobbs Kelly

Sub: Wanganeen

Run Bryan as full time ruck with Peter Wright as support. When Wright is in the ruck, Laverde moves forward to provide a contest. Wanganeen comes on late for a tall to add speed and pressure.

It’s my nephews first game ever.
