I think Brand played one of his better games tonight. Seemed to be playing with a lot more confidence. Was attacking the incoming high ball and going for the mark or spoil rather than staying on the ground and holding his direct opponent (which usually results in frees against).

Impey, Nash and Morrison all had some of their best games in the brown and gold.

Was a 5 goal win when factoring in the cheating. Swans completely overrated. Who is number 9 for the Swans? Really lippy to multiple premiership champions but goes missing when the heat is on.

About 20% of swine posters on their autopsy thread say the umpires gave them a good run, and about 75% blame horse.

I just got home. So pumped.

Ladies and gentleman, it is a privilege to have this football club in our lives. It’s not a right, it’s a ****ing privilege.

Forget the stats, tear up that sheet, because it does not hold the answers. We won tonite because every player in hawthorn colours stood up in the last and said “I don’t want to lose this match and we are going to tough it out to the end.”

After getting a pineapple up the bum from the umpires early on, the boys just kept getting up.

To finish in the top 4 this year is really fantastic home and away season by our club.

Interesting stats.

We had 12 players who didn't receive a free, Swines had 6.
We had 5 who didn't get penalised, Swines had 10.

Even though we won, how that game was umpired should be investigated. It was great win, and the way our youngsters dug deep, and fought was a credit to them = all of them. Brayshaw made a point of our old experienced hands when Rough and Breust stood up, but in my opinion young Harry was the star of our last quarter.
