Update: the ribs have gone in the oven. Slow cook for an hour and then crisp them up at the end.

I would have cooked goose tonight but I was worried Dylan would show up and insist it played next week.

Mate I will stick my knob in your ribs or Dylan I don't even care which

West has just cruised past Leuy as the number 1 ruck. He is giving 100% on the ground digging the ball out of packs while Berger is AWOL.
I was just about to come on post something about Leuy, for the previous 2 matches I put his average form down to going against some quality rucks, IN hale and McEvoy and the cats trio of McIntosh, Biclavs and Simpson. So I thought today he was going to really stand up but he was very disappointing not sure of any stats BUT he didn't seem to win hitouts, didn't take to many big marks around the field and no impact up forward.
Really pleased that some of the players to really stand up were the young brigade in Paps, lewy Taylor and lester.

When I hear people talk about groupthink for the first time, I can only assume they've just started reading 1984 for Yr 9 English.

Or maybe that's just your confirmation bias.

Out: whipping boys.
In: the next batch of messiahs to be crucified as whipping boys.

How do you replace a team of whipping boys with whipping boys?

I thought West was good. Might jump Leuey as no 1 ruck

They still have Jack Martin and Harley Bennell to come in to this team. The AFL have overcooked these expansions sides about 150 percent more than necessary.

The next few years are going to be shit in terms of teams earning their flags.

So much this.

I think they looked at previous results with expansion teams and added a bit extra just for good measure. The trouble is, drafting has become much more of a science than it used to be way back when, and as a result they have granted both GC and GWS far too much largesse. It was the combination of them too, not just drafts, but pre-listings, the 17 year old mini-drafts. It's far too much. We had a grand total of two top 10 drafted players in our team v the Swans last round. The numbers for GC and GWS are astronomical.

They have rooted the competition for the next decade, and also potentially dealt fatal blows to some clubs who had the misfortune to hit a lowpoint in their cycle when the fix was in.

The reason they are so fixated on equalisation right now is a bit of misdirection. They are happy to reinforce any narrative that explains why some clubs struggle consistently that doesnt get sheeted back to the ridiculously over-generous treatment of GC and GWS.

How do you crisp them? Jack up the heat or do they go in the pan to caramelise?
Depends who is washing up!

Tonight I'm going solo so it'll just be in the oven. If I'm feeling adventurous, I'll put the griller on.

he was up against nicholls who is at 12 games l think. He has gone so far backwards it is embarrassing. He was bordering on AA last year.

You can cook some if he plays next week. Then Dylan can be sure that Goose is both literally and metaphorically cooked if doesn't limit Port to 0 goals.
Good to see TBD's mates all chiming in with their support.

Can't forget Ceebee either standing in the background, letting everyone know that she has ignored me.
The meltdown continues...

Good to see TBD's mates all chiming in with their support.

1. Engage in a three hour, one-man arms race to make the most hysterically dramatic and often contradictory statements during a match
2. When people call you on on them, claim it is a big conspiracy of victimisation led by some mysterious puppet master
3. ????
4. Profit

Yeah, ceebee' repetitive negativity towards people is really not on.

And TBD is no friend of mine. Badminton partner? yes. Occasional lover? I really can't say. But he's no friend.

Good luck trying big man...another one of the "boys" lending his support.

Come on Dylan, at least let me buy you a drink
