I feel like come round 10 it'll be Lewis FF Jeka CHF and everything will be fine in the world. I think Jeka is ready to show his VFL form in the AFL now. Body a bit stronger, has had a taste of the level and a few games were he played well down back.
Good in theory.

He’s got to actually get on the park first. His body is actually failing him - hence the repeated lengthy lay off for hamstrings, which 22 years olds don’t usually have.

Also his VFL form was as a defender, not a forward.

Hopefully the team puts in effort to pressure them. A backline of Ziebell, Corr, Logue and McDonald isn't the quickest.
Maybe not, but I’m tipping they will communicate well with each other and stay in the back half when required.

May not have heaps of slingshot rebound but given the predicted conditions that’s unlikely to be on show anyhow.

Plenty of wise heads in their back 6. Won’t be easy.

His calf was never going to be a 1 week prospect.

Blind Freddy could’ve told us that but the club keeps up the charade.
Absolute joke and pretty pathetic by the club. I laughed when they said that he was taken off against the bombers with “calf tightness” knew there and then it was 2 + week injury ..

My question is who the hell did they think they would fool?

And then to say he would only need a week off, with his injury history? Pull the other one son, it plays Jingle Bells 😂

I'd even say he would be doubtful for next week, let's not forget he missed basically half a season last year from a hamstring😔

To be fair he trained fully today, and Sam was literally saying a few hours ago that he was going to play, so clearly he’s pulled up sore since.

We're screwed, although no less screwed than the last two weeks. Footy's pretty simple. You have to outscore the opposition to win. Just can't see it happening.
I expect a pretty big improvement this week. Bit more experience coming in and some X factor in the forward line with Brockman, bring it on

He's going for run and gun. Clearly doesn't rate Larkey, as Frost will have the match up all day. God help us.
Frost physically matches up well on Larkey. As long as he just sits on his back shoulder all day.

Frost would have to be a lot better than the first two weeks though.

Amartey ripped him to shreds. Took 9 on him in the first half.
And Larkey is a much better player.
As I said, God help us.

Chad's Chad, he's rarely ever going to play more than 15 in a season due to his soft tissue woes.

How bad is Kosi going ? Dropped when Lewis and Jeka are both out.

Deserved to be dropped. Kozi needs to give it a real crack or go on the scrap heap as an AFL footballer. Looking like Tarzan and playing like Jane won't cut it at this level.

Going to need our midfield to not let the ball down there if he plays like he did as last week

i like the ins nailed 3 of the changes I was expecting 4. I still think we need a change in our key post up forward and down back.
What has happened to Frost playing small in the pre season ? Meek up forward is a query for mine. Was it time for Ramsden or to soon. I want to see Jeka fit and able. We will have to wait till Lewis is available the coaches seem to be out of options at present.

Let’s me real if Jeka was fit he won’t be doing any better than Kosi.

possibly but also hasn't been given the chance run of games. I though he looked good at CHB at the end of last season.
For what's it worth I think Kosi would be better suited back.
