North or Hawks had to be somewhere in the first 4 or 5 rounds. For the benefit of each team. Genuine winnable game.
We’re legitimately likely to be 0-7 before getting the Bombers at Optus in Round 8 as a maybe win given our record against them in our dour recent years (W in 2022 and 1pt L in 2023). Even then I wouldn’t expect us to go in as favourites.

Im not sure taking our 2 best ball extracters from the midfield to put them in the backline is going to reduce the amount of ball going into the backline.
Fact is we have holes in our list but sacrificing our mid field to plug those holes is a regressive step.

He epitomises shiitting himself when under pressure, cannot defend against a KPF and is so slow with decision making coming out of defence.
2024 needs to be a year where we find out what our players can do. Unfortunately for Rotham I think he has reached his ceiling and it looks like his ceiling is carpet, just centimetres above his floor

It’s is a pretty confidence sapping stretch for a team that has had precious few wins in the last couple of years?
Probably is better to get it out of the way now……… going to be a horror show later this year.
Could never understand the pre-season optimism that we would improve on last year, simply don’t have the cattle, lose Shuey and Hurn; Darling, Cripps and Gov a year older and nothing in the mid range of age players.
Can’t change reality, it will be 2028 before we can hope for 8/9 wins in a season.
