I reckon my rd3 trades will look like this. Don't want to drop a trade boost, but cash is king, and I think it'll pan out like this. Let's see if I'm correct...

-Brodie to Xerri
-Ward to Rachele
-Owens to DStephens/Maginness/Mead
Why trade Brodie given the Fyfe setback? Xerri looks good, but is that swap really worth burning a trade over?

If cash is king, how much do you really expect to net from the first 2 trades, Xerri/Rachele need to make 300k more than what Ward/Brodie make for them to be profitable trades. If going down to 123k players I can see it as you get 150k straight away but only those first 2 trades nets you about 10k, Xerri and Rachele may make 50k more combined in the long run but whats more valuable 50k now or 2 trades later in the season.

With Fyfe struggling with injury surely Brodie is a safer option to make the money over the rookie small forward in a struggling side even allowing for the obvious talent of Rachele. He wont kick 5 every week, what does his score look like with 0/1/2 goals instead is what you need to see this week.

I'm leaning towards:

Treloar > Sicily
Soligo > Durdin

Crisp and Berry are the only other two I'll reassess next week, barring injuries. Maybe 1 other rookie swap, but pretty happy with the ones I have atm

Why not do Owens now if he gets dropped? Keep that trade boost.

Because I only have $54k, so it's Dyl Stephens, Maginness or Mead early. All could be dropped in rd3 lol

Good points boys. Just got major FOMO on Rachele and Xerri. But you're right, in the long run, probably not much difference.

Guess I'll sit tight and see what happens this weekend.

In an ideal world I'd trade Owens to Rachele or Xerri this week, but I only have $54k in the bank.

If Dyl Stephens in named on field with McInerney passing a fitness test, and Lloyd and Warner coming in, I reckon he's safe as houses, and I might go Owens to DStephens in rd2. Then maybe no trades in rd3 if Ward/Brodie do well, and Rachele/Xerri do poorly

Why trade out Owens now ? ......unless he's on-field, simply wait, till the player u want to replace him with, is on the bubble ....doesn't affect any cash generation by waiting

Not this week, on a soggy wet oval in SYD

Because if I know he definitely needs to go and I have another 2 trades to do next week I’d much prefer to keep the trade boost than do 3 next week.

Well, Treloar doing well has thrown a spanner in the works for me. My attention now pivots towards Crisp and Whitfield of those currently in my team, and towards Hall and Sicily of those that I don't have. Soligo will become Mead or whoever I can afford (just over $10k to work with) that looks good. Maybe even Skinner a week early just to fix up my DPP flexibility.

Baz out = Treloar good.

Doubt he'll be in my team come the end of year (too many quality Bulldogs players taking too many points off him), but I'm now comfortable holding him for the medium-term future. He could have scored well last week if he'd been a bit cleaner with his disposal too.

stewart locked in one barrel .. dawson loaded into the other.

otherwise gawn is on the reload if both shots miss.

looking for any excuse to trade right about now..

I'm glad I've done my two trades in RD2.
It's done now - I'm cashed up and now I can relax about what I'm going to do with RD3
I'm in no hurry to trade for RD3 - just let it unfold :D

Ideally would like to hold again if I can!
Teams pretty set
Can wait another week for Martin now with his Covid spell Only issue is not owning hewett
He looks like a must have and a bad anti pod

Kudos to those who started him and are a trade ahead of all of us who didn’t

Those contested effective handballs are gold in supercoach and he is so clean
