Dusty looked terrible last night from midway through the 2nd quarter.

Not sure who to but think my money is better spent elsewhere.

trade or hold dusty? and if so who would you trade to, dont have enough money to go up so would need someone cheaper than him any suggestions?

At this stage I'm going with trade because I like the idea of

Dusty > Rockpig
Zac W > Lloyd

This of course depends on what transpires this weekend.

Is it naive to think you've nailed every pick?

Just thinking on the Dusty pick, there are certainly signs he's not at his best.
While I can hope he turns it around, is there merit in jumping on a performing player (Bont or MCrouch similarly price) if they keep performing?
And just admitting you got it wrong with Martin?

While trades are valuable, holding an under performing premo mid can derail a season and no matter how many trades you have come finals you won't be in with a chance.
(I had 4 trades left with 2 weeks to go, but lost the semi-final last year).

Just mulling it over...

Look what happened to those who held Hibberd/Billings last year. Hibberds role completely changed, Billings was playing like a fairy. Sometimes you get it wrong trading them out but if you held either then thats your season done. As you said it can derail your year.

The warning signs were there with Dusty last year, its become worse in the first two rounds. You can see it, he's not as sharp upstairs, he looks disinterested, his awareness has been dreadful, he ball watches at stoppages, he refuses to tackle, his fend offs are like butter. In the article about his depression he never said he was over it. Not only that but Richmond season could go downhill very quick with their injuries, it could end up like the Crows 2018.

Moore fwd, Hawkins > Rocky if you have a DPP fwd player in the mids.
I do not.

Suggesting get rid of the Hawk is like asking me to drown my child in the bath.
He gonna feast at Kardinia with the 6-6-6. Roughead beat him last week and still nearly tonned up.

I'd be more inclined to trade Heeney at this point anyway.
Horse is a campaigner.

Is Dusty a genuine worry lads?

No tackles since who knows when, I’m a little concerned.

Honestly I really don't know where he's at. He was tagged heavily last night and had 2 blokes on him at every contest.
He's definitely not injured. I think it's something with his mental side.
I'm going to hold him until at least round 5, to give him a chance to lift and respond well so we can cope with our injuries. If he doesn't by then then i'll most likely trade him to Macrae.

If you see someone that you think is a must have then I would go for it, i'm just gonna put some faith and hold him for a bit.
