GAJ to NVB is going to leave you with only Fyfe, Selwood and Parker as premiums in the middle. That's a bit light on in my opinion. Lamb to Hogan seems like a good trade to me though
Thanks for the replies guys...Agreed, I have a 4 premo fwd line though so trade GAJ move Swan/Dusty to mids and bring in Hogan?

Hey guys can I ask for your advice on trades for my team this week.
Thinking Lamb to Hogan, GAJ to NVB with only $1600 in the kitty.
Interested in your ideas, Thanks Lads. Info from Jiska Gingy krk004 GOAUS! toxic TheOz Judd_Magic
would be much appreciated.:thumbsu:

Hmm that would only leave you with 3 mid premo's. For your team I would recommend GAJ > Sloane/Danger/other premo & maybe Hurn to Simpson or Smith if Smith isn't a late out.

I'd probably go GAJ to an ultra premo (pendles would be the obvious one if you're prepared to chance his ankle) and Lamb to Hogan

New plan:

Goodes to Hunt

Gaz to NVB.

Pocket the war chest and use it on 1/2 premiums who drop money in the next two-three weeks.

Sacrifice points now, hopefully run people down in a month by having more premiums than they do

But if you trade GAJ to a premo now then you won't need the extra trade to get a premo in later???

I've had him since the start. Never put him out
I found more value in JPK and went with him and was always going to get Fyfe instead of him at the start (have gotten 823 points from those two already). I thought that he might struggle somewhat with Collingwood's midfield being a bit thin these days however he could even go the other way and score more considering he's their only good player in their midfield right now. Was on track for a huge score against Adelaide last week before copping the knock.

Any recommendations on what to do about Broadie Smith, I want to trade him in, but there's a good chance he's gonna be a late a out then if I don't trade him in and he plays I miss his price rise. What a pickle

Don't trade until just before the Adelaide game, if he is named pull the trigger, if not, don't.

Ok, I am one of these guys considering doing something which may be stupid

Griffen to Bonts
Miller to Van Berlo

I know Griff went ok last week but I just think he is going to get the attention week in week out and will stagnate.

It sounds like he's likely to play. Passed a concussion test yesterday, and trained today or yesterday (losing track of days). It sounds like he'll only miss if he wakes up tomorrow and feels off

Spud trades.

Sure, but my rationale is that this method allows me to jump onto two premiums faster than I would have been able to otherwise, probably for a lot less money (I'm already looking at guys like Beams, Boak and Malceski, as well as Rockliff when he returns, who are going to drop a stack of cash), and gives me an extra month to have a better look at just who are the must haves for this year.

I'm not saying it's right, but that's my reasoning

Where's everyone's thoughts on Rory Laird? 21 and 24 disposals in rounds 1 and 2, 317k with a BE of -18 and an average of 102. Anyone thinking he can do what Matthew Jaensch did last year?

Also Nathan vanBerlo, 17 and 15 disposals in R1 and 2 and an average of 92, pretty decent off such little touches but given how powerful Adelaides midfield is will he be able to continue finding enough of the ball?
