I have Petracca at F9 in my team.

Don't mind waiting 2-3 more weeks for him to come in.

Trading out Barlow and Rockliff(depending on seriousness of injury). Still got Broad which i wannna change to Hartley. 1 wanna change 1 of Mummy and Gawn to S.Martin.
But i'm on track to score 2300+ so i'm happy

I'd easily do the first 2 mate.

You can do Broad > Hartley next week when Hartley is on the bubble.

I'm thinking of going Barlow > Z.Merrett myself and probably Rockcliff > Parker.

Only cause I have bugger all cash.

I was so close to starting with Z Merrett this year but didn't simply because of the team he was going to have around him. Certainly hasn't affected him the first two weeks. Just a case of how much it is going to take out of him. Absolute star though.

I never thought about starting him mainly for the reasons you stated.

Like you said though playing in a patched up team isn't affecting his scores.

Has to be considered and is a great price.

Also debating on Jacobs to Nic Nat before Jacobs loses money, will probably hold off so I'm not burning trades.

You realise he has forward eligibility though? If he can get a 100 average you'd take that at 475K? 88 average in his second season last year and looks likely to build on it. I might'n get him myself, but I'd at least consider him - or at least it's definitely not a flat-out no.

I traded in the other Merrett a couple of years ago after Rd3 because he was averaging 100+ low B/E, was in his 3rd year, looked like he was on the up. Ended up leaking $$$ and averaging 50. Wrecked my season.

I spent all last week thinking "I'm gonna go Fyfe to Danger, I'm gonna go Fyfe to Danger." And I actually held my nerve. First opening week with no trades in ... well, ever. So thanks group think for that one. You guys came through for me, even if you were blissfully unaware of that.

This week though, I think Rocky's gotta go. As others have astutely pointed out, he's not right. Priddis possibly too expensive. Parker seems obvious (pending tomorrow's game). Zaka could be a smokey. Parish would be ballsy, but probably also stupid.

And Barlow the Deceiver. I think I'll get rid of him for a milkshake and a pack of smokes. Or maybe Papley, if he plays well. He and Hewett the only rooks I think I've missed so far.

Temptation to bring in both Zaka and Merrett is strong, but I suspect that's a mug's game. I think the Dons will struggle more as the season goes on, and those guys will feel the weight as the team falters around them.

Haha, whoops, I rushed that a bit. Barlow and Rocky are on the block for me too now. Maybe for Fyfe and Hall
