Is Bonar confined to debut? If not there's no point in burning that trade yet
Uncertain what your meaning.
If its what I think you mean bonar has played 2 games. Will change price after next week.
I have both Sicily and caddy. Keefe on defence bench would have put naughton on the field this week.
This way Sicily gets benched for bonar.

Bonar and Bonner are two different players. The player you're talking about is Bonner, but you keep spelling it Bonar.

Is Doedee a must have??

Have already culled Lambert & want to offload Sicily for Taranto, but am in 2 mind’s whether I hold & get Doedee in for A Johnson??

Thoughts??View attachment 478863
I think he is.
I remember this same question last year in regards to otten and Hampton.

I dont rate bonner at all, but rule 1 is back your gut
IMO the scoring of the rookies in defense (I have Finlayson in def), makes this worth the risk. I've done exactly the same trade this week, Hibberd to Bonner, ZGL to Taranto. Not only does this give me a bit more cash flexibility, where decent cash generation isn't likely to come again until rooks are ready to ditch, it let's me strengthen my forwards, which might have been my weakest line, and has the worst rooks (expecting more 40's than 100's from Ryan). Bonner is basically like a very expensive rookie, but with some potential for premo scoring. But if he even avg around 85 he'll make plenty. There is some genuine concern in terms of Hibberd's role this year. It certainly happened to Shaw last year. Normally wouldn't do a trade like this so early, but team construction makes it worth the risk IMO. Means I keep Dunkley who I was initially going to trade for Taranto, but if Fisher continues his scoring and looking like he may be a keeper, I may flip Dunkley to him next week which means 5 forward spots potentially locked in, 6 in midfield, with only the defense needing much work, with some nice looking rooks to hold down some of the scoring in the mean time.

Hey guys......i have already traded in bonner this week. Now i dont have kelly or holman. Which one has more security was thinkin holman being at the gold coast? Thoughts.....

Mate, you need both Kelly and Holman in your team before you think about bringing in Bonner.

Pre-season me: "Sure, Sicily will be a rollercoaster, will have bad games, will likely get suspended at some point, and is the biggest douchebag in the AFL. But he'll average well overall and is great value. Lock him in!"

Me only rd2: "Oh, another turnover. OH, AN UNNECESSARY 50m PENALTY GOAL. OH YOU ****ING TWAT THAT KICKIN AND CLANGER COST ANOTHER GOAL"

Me since trades have opened

First two trades for the year and hopefully the only ones I'll have to make for a month or so, any feedback?

Lamert > Gray, although I'm a bit put off by the Round 10 bye, played all his game in mid against Swans. Looking at his heat map was even around half back at times. Think he'll score very, very well. Other alternative is Toby McLean.

Getting in Danger. My current premo/mid price mids are Dusty, Titch, Gaz, J Kelly, Fyfe, Coniglio, Kelly and Holman (with LDU and Brayshaw on the bench due to Kelly and Holman scoring well). If I go Lambert to Gray, I have $182,800 to make the move up. Thinking Fyfe as having Gaz is a huge POD at the moment only being in 7% of teams, but I'm hesitant to get rid of Fyfe as most teams have him. Should I make the trade now or wait a few weeks that Coniglio makes some more cash and hope that Danger doesn't hit his BE's of 181 and (potentially) 153 and drops in price enough that I can make that move? Only problem then would be I won't have any funds left to upgrade other players later in the year.

Don't trade out Fyfe unless he is injured.

That is an exceptional midfield so I don't think you need to reach to get Danger just yet. I'd wait until guys like Kelly and Holman have maxed and then turn one of them to Danger. Hopefully he has come down in price slightly before then.

The flipside of your expensive midfield is likely some weakness on other lines so I'd look to improve them first.

Only running with Laird and Hibberd (ugh) as my premium defenders then Bonner plus the Doedee, Finlayson, Murray trio. Two premium rucks but forwards are my weakest line - Heeney, Billings, Lambert (soon to be Gray), Bundy, Fritsch and Ryan. Scored just under 2400 this week and would've gone close to 2500 in Round 1 if I got my playing rookies right and left Titch captain instead of panicking and throwing it on Fyfe last minute. So fwd is the obvious one to want to improve first but I'm not sure how long I can go without having the best player in the game.

pretty much my thinking mate. Live by the sword.

danger and mitchell to complete that midfield at some point at you'll be looking very good

Edit: I must confess I didn't pay much attention to you're wilson trade and that you have a non playing fwd rookie as well. if you can manage your trades to avoid double donut rookies you'll be better off. fisher is a ripper pick up but if you looked at the potential earnings of brayshaw + rayner -> wilson + fisher then you might need to reassess. pre-bye money making is big if you want to finish your side.
That is true , tbh i dont think rayner will make.much money , i could get another mid rookie instead of p wilson that is actually playing , i got a non playing one due to loophole , but getting those rookies on the bubble for cash is big

Brayshaw , rayner out
Z fisher , playing mid rookie in
