Hang on, just consulting the Judd_Magic 8 ball.....

Oh...i like her. Note to Board, please phrase your questions to Judd Magic appropriately. :p

Ive considered hibberd to shaw but ill absolutely kick myself if he spuds it up again. Started with him last year and now ive possibly burned myself again with the wrong high priced defender.

Funny thing is Yeo was my D1 most of the preseason where as hibberd was my d3. Come lockout Hibberd is there but Yeo isnt d'oh

I haven't seen much trade talk of late on ZGL. Are people keeping him for now?

I think I will. I'm pretty happy with my team for the most part and got all the important rookies so am kinda content to go for two correctional trades that I think will drive better cash generation. Don't mind having ZGL on the bench as a loophole. Wouldn't mind trading him to Gowers but don't think it's absolutely necessary. I think I should be okay for cash gen before he or some other rookie options are named.

Shuey > Coniglio
Rayner > Bonner (Sicily going up forward)

I hate early Premo to Premo trades and you should always back in your premo selections but Coniglio has forced my hand, should have started with him, I don't know what I was thinking leaving him out will make a good chunk of coin. Shuey was a risk and I think I made a mistake picking him, happy to put my hand up and acknowledge it.

With that money I make off that, I can switch Rayner who has looked well out of his depth over to Bonner, who while he had a less than stellar 2nd game will still score decently enough and make some cash. Switch Sic forward, which isn't ideal, the rookies in the backline seem to be doing pretty well anyway (Doedee and Finlayson) and the forward line will enjoy having Sicily once he has his week break.

Would love Taranto as well but they can't all be winners.

Pre-season me: "Sure, Sicily will be a rollercoaster, will have bad games, will likely get suspended at some point, and is the biggest douchebag in the AFL. But he'll average well overall and is great value. Lock him in!"

Me only rd2: "Oh, another turnover. OH, AN UNNECESSARY 50m PENALTY GOAL. OH YOU ******* TWAT THAT KICKIN AND CLANGER COST ANOTHER GOAL"

Me since trades have opened

1 trade I think im pretty set on unless naughton gets dropped, which is ZGL to Bonner via Garlett and Finlayson (thank **** for DPP).

This means I play Telly Holman And Finlayson as my 3 mid rookies onfield but will have to field Murray which I dont actually mind as I think he will score better than Brayshaw LDU or Banfield overall.

Im getting very nervous about keeping Hibberd though having been burned by Heater last year. Or should I get English for Cameron?

At this stage im leaning towards banking the trade.

team after my trades, i went andrew brayshaw to p wilson for loophole and money

then rayner to Z fisher, what do you guys reckon
IMO at this stage of the season it's crazy trading someone in just for loophole purposes. Those opportunities will present themselves naturally through the season. What if you cop 2 injuries in the mids this week? Then you are forced to trade and your loophole is worthless anyway. It's all about cash gen at this time of the year.

I think option 3 is clearly the best of those.
Not sure why you're keen to bring in either Garlett or Barry though. If I had viable, affordable options they'd be the first of my rookies to go.

So you selected him in your original team expecting to get some bad games, suspensions and a good average.
Now your trading him because you got a bad game, a suspension and a good average (94). o_O

Definitely a hold for me.
