Don’t trade out Sicily campaigners, we all knew he would get suspended at some point (maybe not round 2, but it was Selwood so he deserved it)

Waste of a trade so early on. Tade like that and you’ll be front of the I’am out of trades thread.
Ahhh but I wanna

i'll sideways trade naughton for sicily

My advice for everybody trading Hibberd is HOLD HOLD HOLD. I understand that he is about to lose money, but through my experience of being awful at Supercoach I have learnt that you need to hold and trust your premiums for as long as possible. back to back 70's isn't ideal, but unless he is still posting these scores by round 6 or 7, your are risking burning a trade you may desperately need later in the season. I had Kade Simpson last season and he posted a bunch of 70's and 80's. Heath Shaw burnt you all and people are looking to forgive and burn Hibberd 2 weeks in. If you can, just chill!

Disagree - he's definitely a trade at this stage and worth using a trade for.

Hibberd averaging 73pts is not good enough for a guy at 545k mark. He's looking at dropping by around 40k due to his massive breakeven and another 2 weeks of mid 70 scores he'll be around 440k mark.

There's many defenders cheaper than him that are scoring above mid 70 point mark and will go up in value by 20k-40k plus the spare cash in the bank allows you to prepare better for other trades.

What would y'all do? Beams is going, but my issue is $0 in the bank, yes 0

Really want Titch because I'll never get him, only way is Hibberd/Lambert out for Bonner/Taranto type

EDIT: When I trade Beams/Hibberd out and Titch in, I have $449,300 for a defender.

Options are Ryan, Stewart, Marchbank, Wilson?

**** makes me sad knowing I couldve just started with Titch and Ryan, id be top 1k instead of 19k...
Can you do beams/lambert for tmitch/taranto?

You liking Timmy tox?

Him and Ollie Florent are from my area (younger than me) and its crazy how well they are both doing in the AFL already - especially considering their age and sides they are playing in (Syd and GWS)

Think TT can avg enough to be worth the trade in? Argument of points to go around in the GWS team is true, however they will win most games and by a fair margin in most of them, so they'll be getting more points as a team.

Currently have Beams/Hibberd > Titch/Luke Ryan. 27k in bank

Yes i really rate TT at his price

After sitting at the game round 1 at quarter time looking at my phone and seeing a big fat 0, I already thought to myself ******* stupid decision starting Lambo. Then I saw him run 15km and get 71 points in the remaining three quarters and I knew there was a reason I picked him.

I did want to rage trade him after the weekend gone by, but our whole side bar Dusty was just heavily outplayed by the Crows away.

I think he'll come good, our next 5 games are at the G against non-finals sides of last year, and then North after that. He's runs a shitload, gets to a heap of contests, I think he'll pick it up
Oh man, i hope so. He started off slowish before bye last year as well then kickes things off post bye. Im tempted to hold as well.

Hey guys......i have already traded in bonner this week. Now i dont have kelly or holman. Which one has more security was thinkin holman being at the gold coast? Thoughts.....

Get both. Forget Bonner

I've got all the rookies I need and don't have any that require offloading like Naughton. Main two issues for me are an underperforming Hibberd (role-change?) and Armitage, and perhaps a lack of a second top-tier gun midfielder (current midfield is Dusty, Fyfe, Pendles, Cripps, Coniglio, Armitage, T.Kelly and Holman. Is Bonner a must get? Even if he drops off a bit, he could still score about what Hibberd is scoring at the moment. Armitage has the right role at the saints, but the saints look off the pace and have a tough run coming up. Few options I'm tossing up are:

Hibberd > Bonner and Armitage > Oliver (10k off T.Mitchell dammit!) My thinking here is trade my mid-pricer for one that is performing and trade an underperforming premium for a rolled gold midfielder. Can afford any mid besides T.Mitch and Danger with this trade if you think any others will suit. I think this helps me keep my initial structure, though it is sideways. I never sideways beside my round 2 correctional trades.

Another option is Hibberd > Simpson but then I don't know what to do with Armitage. He could become T.Taranto or Christensen/Bonner via DPP but I think the first option will probably get me more points. I don't want to downgrade Armo as then I'd have three rookies onfield in the midfield and I don't think Brayshaw/Banfield/Fogarty can be trusted on the ground at the moment.

Anyone else holding Zac Giles-Langdon for loophole purposes?

Im holding zgl.

Got my rookies right, so only trade at the moment is:

Hibberd>Simpson

Unless someone is willing to talk me out of it....

I have the same decision to make. Tempted to hold hibberd and back him in but I'm not happy with him at all at the moment and i don't want to fall too far off the pace.

Still 50/50 on what to do with him

Please help.
Am I jumping the gun by trading out Z. Merret who will lose money in next few weeks....
for someone like Coniglio or another premo mid?
Its hard to know bc there are examples of premos coming good and also holding premos who don't. ..
What is a trade worth? 100k?
If you trade zerrett to cogs - how much will you make from cogs increasing and zerrett losing money - plus the extra points you will score.
Thats assuming its a few weeks until zerrett comes good. If its next week then is a wasted trade.

My focus this week for trades is my backline:

Laird, Hibberd, Sicily, Finlayson, Doedee, Murray (Naughton, Murphy)

The only way I can upgrade Naughton to Bonner is to chop Hibberd for Shaw.

However I see Simpson as more of a sure thing than Shaw.

The only other option would be to trade Sicily to Bonner and Hibberd to Shaw, holding Naughton.

My question - is Sicily a keeper (lets say Top 10 Def)?

Current thinking:

Naughton -> L.Ryan
Beams -> Clayol

Can you find something better?

Assume you’re swinging Sic to def?

Like it, as long as you’re happy with fielding 2 rookies in the fwd line from now on, which I assume is what you tried to avoid with your starting team

Comfortable where my rookies are at. Don't see any must-haves that I need to grab. Happy to roll with Hibberd, McGovern and Lobb (perhaps Happy is overstating things a little).
I have Crouch to deal with, and my question boils down to:

1. Crouch -> Oliver/Selwood/Parker/Cripps

or

2. Crouch -> Mitchell
and
Merrett -> Selwood/Parker/Cripps (leaning towards Selwood, he'll never be tagged)
