It is the unwritten law of SuperCoach. Players who want to crucify themselves break it.

Happy to keep Aker I think...will be happy of a 70 av. for the season...got plenty of it, but sprayed a few.

Still some good signs imo.

Nope. Not happy with 70 from Akermanis. If he is spraying it playing the Demons it will only get worse against sides like the Cats. I bought into the pre-season hype when he was said to be averaging 96. I'm cutting my losses and running. Plus it will be a straight swap for another doggy in young Josh Hill. I doubt he will keep up his average but he will be a handy 7th forward.

I'm tempted to use the spare cash to upgrade Stevens to GAblett however I'll probably sit on it for now.

Stevens value will increase

I watched the bulldogs game and for the first half aker basically didn't do anything, the ball rarely came to him. One of his clanger kicks was actually a snap over his shoulder that went out on the full which gave -8 clanger kick -4 free kick against.

And after the first quarter he was -9

He ended up with 54 points which was not bad considering.

The second half he got more of the footy, got into the play, kicked 3/3 could have easily been 4-5 and given him a decent score. I think i might sit on him a bit longer and see.

If i make any trades it will be A edwards in the forward line for a stokes, gamble or another cheap guy that will give me value so that i can upgrade another player to a Brad Johnson, Bartel, Adcock, Bowden once their prices come down a little.

Played hill and rioli on the bench this week and they outscored nearly all my forward line :(

It looks like I will have to do a trade in my backline this week, depending on how the teams are named. I have a enough cash to upgrade a cheap defender to either Bradshaw or Osbourne. Osbourne has had 2 very good scoring games but I'm questioning whether his role will change once guys like Crawf & Lewis come back into the team. Bradshaw has been solid since coming back from his reco & has been a good SC'er in the past from what I've seen on FF. The other option would be to pick Brown from the Pies who has been solid down back.

Just seeking a few thoughts on which would be the best way to go, thanks.

Nathan G Brown out for Bock or Porpliza....

Which do you guys think? porp is great for takles and is finding the ball in the middle alot more, Bock i can see playing a Sam Fisher type rols in the backline sweeping and getting a few cheep marks and touches and the occasional foray into the forward line. hmmm maybe even Josh Hill bit a much bigger risk.

Also thinking Nikoski/hansen out for Nathan Brown (collingwood) for purely cash reasons. Brown will almost certainly play his 3rd game this week and i would love the cash. These will be my first trades for the year, Currently 2567th overall.

Let me know what you guys think.
cheers

I have $200,000 to spend.

Brad Johnson or Chapman!?
Hard to pick 1 (this is for SJ).

Might leave it at that although i will have at least 140K to upgrade possibly Nicoski?

thanks,

has anyone traded judd?
Sorry mate, but for starters I don't know why you even had McDougall. You're a Dogs man too.

Rutten has had a good start but he is a key defender - there will be many games where he will hardly get a touch. Look for flankers and those who consistently get the ball in defence.

I need to trade Mcdougall is Ben Rutten a good choice?

You have McDougall in your team? Yuk..

And don't trade Judd.

I am having to trade big Stewie Dew due to his hammy. Don't know whether to downgrade to Hill like the rest of Australia and collect the increase in price, or upgrade to Porps and leave him in for most of the year. I am thinking Hill at the moment, but open to suggestions? Would have been better for Dew to do his hammy next week after playing 3 games

I'm not gonna trade judd,

I just Traded McDougall for Rutten and Laycock for Simmonds

good trades?

Don't say I didn't warn you.

And no Monday trade is ever a good trade.

SJ, this any good in your opinion?

In: Hill, Riolo/Stokes
Out: Tippet, Sellar (shouldn't have jumped on him i know)

Wait on Tippett, he might be fine anyway. And if Tippett is out, Sellar may even come in. Unsure.

It's a risk to do a sideways rookie trade when your former player may still get game time. If Tippett plays and Sellar is still out, I possibly would consider bringing in Rioli or Hill for him.

ATM have all of Albert Proud, Lachlan Hansen and Scott Thompson (Kan) in my backline as Proud played and Hansen missed after being a late withdrawl from round 2 am thinking of trading Hansen, should I do it or give him another go as their has been wide speculation that he is going to be used on a wing and through themiddle this year, give him antoher week, aswell as thompson who played very well in the reserves on the weekend. what do you think. no trades or trade Hansen for one of Harry Taylor or Nathan Brown (Col) both should be lock ins for the first half of the season barring injuries of course.
