I'm leaning towards chapman as he has been more consistent (115 and 107), I don't have many geelong players, is more unique and is versing Melbourne.

Chapman is an absolute superstar. If he plays 22 games he won't let you down.

It's tempting isn't it? Junior is a champion and from my first look at him for 2008 at him yesterday only looks better than before.

I think it depends on the rest of your side though. Stevens will increase in value eventually and may end up being a keeper. Junior is a definite keeper and captaincy choice from day dot. How is the rest of your midfield looking?

i was think of getting rid of michael johnson for michael osbourne, this will give mean i have about $165.000.

do you think with this i should trade nicoski for bock

or trade either jones or stanton for a top midfielder

other options could be lose symes for s.fisher, lose simmonds for sandilands, lose mcintosh for cox.

You've hit the nail on the head. The real question is will Stevens be a keeper. Good pre-season form but he hasn't impressed in his two games so far this year. From all reports he looked fat and slow against St Kilda.

GAblett is a star. He's racking it up and provides another captain choice. I can't see him dropping below 600k. Could be the Bartel of 2007.

Midfield currently consists of Cross, Hayes, Stevens, Dyson, Houli and Tuck, Geary and Bird with the last two missing out this coming week.

I would have done Dyson to GAblett but his big game on the weekend saved him.

I wanna do it but I will kick myself if Stevens gets back up around 100.

You're trading out 2 guns for 2 rookies. Yes your bank balance looks impressive, however its round 2 of a 22 round season and you only have 20 trades. The objective is to get guns, not get rid of them. Assuming there are 8 players you want to upgrade in your team, upgrades ususally costing 2 trades, thats 16 trades. So you have 4 trades for injuries, form drops and bargains. If you start trading out guns you're going to start running out of trades.

Thats just my 2 cents.
