'Oi vey, what am I, chopped liver?

Get around me! :D

Don't see your name on the thread champ
Haha no, thank you for getting it sorted, I got held up.

Well.
That was a win. I think?

A win. But it shouldn’t be that hard.
Same weird coaching decisions that don’t look like changing. Lucky a few stood up and lead the way.
Steele was huge. king was great apart from his goal kicking. Sinclair, Wilkie and Roma worked into it.
We are killing Owens and not sure what we are doing with the Pou. Too many “tall forwards” not enough contested mids.
Hate hasties sub treatment.

Hopefully the second half provides some confidence to take us into the next few weeks. First half a shocker. Very strange game .

Wilson immense in the last quarter. And great games from Steele, Roma, Sinclair and NWM. Another nearly game for Max. He wasn’t helped by our abysmal delivery in that first half.

4 points. Got to be happy. Nerves shredded though.

Now that I think I did right, confidence me!

We got lucky in the first half that the Tiggies didn't dominate on scoreboard, they torched us and we were mentally not switched on at all; players running over the ball, getting easily bumped off it, falling over, playing behind, we just weren't in that game in the first half.

Slowly but surely we worked into it, thankfully, and the Tiggies just couldn't run with and maintain it so we had some space to work in and thus ascend in as we switched on.

Kudos to the defense group for weathering that storm early doors, especially Stocker picking up the slack with the midfield run offs early like Dusty popping in whilst our mids were down.

That hurt my eyes...anyone who blames the ground should give themselves an uppercut, the basics of footy and total lack of skills and fumbles and not taking the ball cleanly, dropped marks, it was the full bain marie of Auskick skills especially in the first half.

Max King is our Marquree player, our supposed number one weapon, he needed to be 60 + or more goals in 2024 to get close to living up to that potential, he starts R5 with me asking when is he going to WoW me.

Thought the pressure really rose in the 2nd half, opened up the game and started scoring.
I would seriously consider Jack Hayes to help Roh. Think Hammer can take a spell.

Bombing to a stationary King won't get it done, he never seems to lead.

Happy Bonner redeemed himself.

You blokes are a bunch of wet wipes.

Just read the final 13 pages of the game thread and you are all carrying on like sooks.

We had control of that game with about 5 minutes left in the first.

Only reason that wasn’t a comfortable win was goal kicking and Bolton (what a player he is).

For the love of god can we stop playing on grounds suited for under 12s. (Credit to the groundskeeper, unreal job on the grass)
