Downgrading Callaghan to Phillips looks popular & I might even look to do it myself, but don't let yesterday's score fool you too much.
LDU & Simpkin will be back next week and taking most of Wi-Phi's CBAs. As could be seen by the 1st 2 rounds, I'm not even convinced he's Best 22 right now. He really needs to work back into full fitness.

Kentable playing VFL missed a shot on goal .
I’d be shocked if any one serious was on. I certainly didn’t see any.
A key back who averaged 60 from 17 career games, wasn’t named for round 1, not base price, at a less popular club, and didn’t play pre season (behind Aleer who got 51 playing the same role).
If anything some might have jumped on him after round 1 as a replacement for Jones but even that would be a crazy call at the time as he only scored 76, hardly a must have.

No trades most likely but Doc is starting to cause concern as he is not getting midfield time like most thought he would.
He had 39 possessions. I don't think a lack of CBAs is the problem

Did everyone wanting Phillips watch North yesterday? Looked out of his depth IMO. Needs to put on more weight, and likely to be dropped I'd have thought.

I'll do my due diligence, but if he was horrible and still scored 78 and is picked next week and his coach reckons that he needs exposure at the level, then um yeah I'll prolly grab him. Probably bench him next week anyway to field Baker, after that we'll see I guess. Callaghan already has a par breakeven and looks like a one game wonder, so the trade makes sense to me
In the preseason thread. Team posted late Jan probably. Had him at D4, Ginbey D5 McKenna D6 from memory, but not playing this year.
Kenny brought him in this week.
Been mentioning over and over as the season has gone on. Every week. He has been obvious to a number of people.
Everyone is just fixated on the same guys in here...any deviation from the hive or the massive point scorers from previous week and they arent interested.

There's a few guys that not many have that are going to make that early cash.

Yeah i know. Buckley though was just bizzaro. Even after he started ok then went damn well in Rnd 2...noone apart from maybe 2 guys in here could see any value in a 205K Best 22 in a role we all know is a top notch. It was like they would rather wait and spend 70K more for a bloke like Bowes, or they already had a Liam Jones, or Buckley was just too expensive. It was a bit weird. So damn conservative. If he was the number 1 draft pick though, for the same price...i bet they'd all want him. Anyway who cares.
