Let's say Grundy goes 120 this weekend, he'll be about $495k with a BE of about 95

Dees fixture:

• rd4 Eagles - Williams (NicNat might be back, but expect super low TOG)
• rd5 Bombers - Draper/Phillips
• rd6 Tigers - Nank
• rd7 North - Xerri/Goldy/Comben
• rd8 Suns - Witts
• rd9 Hawns - Meek/Lynch/Reeves

I expect at least 5/6 wins from that run, likely 6/6.


Based on Gawn's diagnosis, he could return from round 6 onwards. But with the severity of the injury and his age, with the Dees winning, and with Grundy doing well (hopefully), they might not be rushed.


Cameron to English will cost ~$125k
Cameron to Grundy will cost nothing
All depends on what that ~$125k helps you get (eg. Chesser or Constable to Bowes)


I know Grundy hasn't looked great at all. Although the Dees have lost the clearances both matches they've played this year (Dogs and Lions have handy mids)

He wasnt last minute at an awkward price. You, like everyone were sweating on rook choices, late outs, and subs before each game in Rnd 1. Buckley came in late but everyone saw it.

Then, at 205K in Rnd 2 he scored 99. Still you didnt consider him.

Yes I considered some of those guys but 1) most of them are irrelevant as mids and 2) the only one who is in his price range and position was Jones who played 12 hours before Buckley even came into the side ffs. When Jones played Buckley was still an emergency.

Yeah it would have been a really well considered and planned move to have the guy named as emergency in your side all weekend, while other guys who were named weren’t in your side, unless you were a GWS fan in the know who knew Aleer would be out at the last minute.

How many players conceivably could have been traded to him at 1pm on the first Sunday ffs? He came in late, we all saw it, but it was with pretty much every team locked already and his price of 205k meant the few defender rookies left to play you couldn’t just ****ing swap to him.

However I do need a new D6 with Kentstable gone. Not sure I trust Wilmot, Cowan or Lord Chesser for the spot. Buckley would be nice, but at 275k it is a bit awkward to bring in.
