Just took my seat and the mids are praticing some taps and clear in front of me. Most of it is pretty standard but they did one play where Mitch had the ball facing back and langers was running up to his back for pressure. Shiels ran up the right (Mitch's left), drawing langers and another defender as Mitch made to handball while smith crossed over and ran up Mitch's right, took a quick handball in the clear and then kicked an immediate bullet to someone waiting in the 50. It looked good.

They are practicing in the middle now and the defenders are not going for the loose ball at all, letting an offensive player free run to get it. Hmmm. Not much of a contested ball drill.
