Worpel, Langford, Howe, Burton, Glass, Brand all nameed for BH in tomorrows 2pm game V Coburg? So from this it seems that Cousins and Mitch-Lewis are starters against North.
The whole 8 man bench is named for Box Hill

I am also wrapped that Morrison has held down the wing in the named 18. I know it does not mean he ends up there on game day, but the fact he is named again would be a big deal for the kid.

I feel like the younger players are really up and about, and I think the selection committee/coaches are really making an effort to encourage them by naming a lot in the squad each week.

Morrison will 100% play. He was very good in difficult conditions last week and has performed well at docklands before. Not sure whether Burton will be named in the 22 but his game is suited to the venue also. And Sicily under the roof......forgetaboudit

Apparently Waite has pulled up a bit sore from the Carlton game, so McKay may be a late in.
Would be huge for us if that was true, Brown and him will really stretch us if given enough opportunity. Would also allow us to give Brown extra attention.

Are they final selections?

Cousins isn't pushing Shiels, Howe or Tom out of the side, so unless Clarkson sees him as capable of playing a different role to the one he plays at Box Hill each week, he won't be sliding into the side without injuries to others.

The Cuz.. he's in, thought you may have had better intel :D

Great to see Cousins get his chance after great games at BH. Have high hopes for the kid. Burto back was just a matter of time.

Cousins to midfield, Burton to halfback, Duryea and Impey permanent forwards.
This does seem likely and I don't mind Duryea in the forward line. Really interested to see how we go, replacing stalwarts with kids. The future is now!

Does McKay play a similar role to Waite? I've heard plenty of hype about his brother but not much about your version. Tall mobile forward?
No, McKay is your more traditional FF type. Built like a brick crap-house and fairly aggressive, but he's a bit raw. He's very similar to his brother at Carlton.

He's been playing CHB for the most part of the last year and a half. Very much a Robbie Tarrant mould.
dont you mean potentially a bit sore?

But his best footy is ahead of him, potentially.

Obviously one of his favs, hence his undeserved game the other week.

I stand by what I said though, we grow as a team by moving past players like Langers. If he's still best 22, we aren't top 4.

As for his kicking, he's always butchered it. Should have worked on it every pre-season. I just think we have to accept that for the most part his disposal is rubbish.
I've always been a fan of Langers, but my confidence dropped over multiple of his post 2013 preseasons, he'd have an interview where he talked about improving his strength, core or something. I don't know why we didn't rebuild his kick from the ground up like we did with Sewell. Nonetheless I take issue with saying his game was undeserved, before Mitchell he was the best clearance player we had, not to mention the pressure he brings to any position, let's not go overboard after a bad game and a year we were forced to play him out of position.
