think i go Barlow > Mayes with a DDP mid link now and Suban > Birchall which will be 6 trades and that will do for a while, sit back and listen to the mooing.

What's wrong with Barlow? 110 avg. do you have other dg options? Moving suban is a good move he was a "one game wonder" :)

Well said your advice to yourself is good! :) and moloney could be a good downgrade option he's got 20k left in him and Mayes and Evans are on the bubble this week.
Yeah giving advice to myself must a sign of madness:eek::) think i might make moloney watson/selwood etc.

I have Moloney also and will be keeping him for at least another week. Brisbane play Melbourne this week, so I think he might be in for a good game (bit to prove). Hoping I can squeeze a few more $'s from him yet.

Would it be crazy to cull Brad Hill(for Martin/Docherty) now and trade Heppell for Birchall?

the cull is not crazy - the heppell to birchall is jump in a padded cell material

Im glad they don't have unlimited trades, poor old Juddy would be about 15 in by now.
Juddy and I should start a petition for the DT model of 44 trades - 2 each round. I think that'd be ace :thumbsu:

Yep. I'm one of the idiots who got sucked in for him. Downgraded to Hutchins last week. Had a grin when I saw him get subbed off last weekend :)

Traded Dangerfield to Wingard and Varcoe to Westhoff last week they combined for 244 points which wasn't a bad start, +137K in price rises both have a BE of low 40s so hopefully another big jump this week, inital trade was going to be Varcoe to knights.. This week Moloney to Mayes, Stevens to Hartlett. Leaves me with a backline of Goddard, Gibbs, Hartlett, Heppell, Dixon and Goodes.

Make it a different game:mad: I ****ing hate having too many trades Spoils it I reckon. I also hate the rolling lockout too..
Agreed on the rolling lockout. Rewards those without a life.

You don't even have an iPhone or something? I get an e-mail when one of my players has the Green Vest on an hour before the game, and using the mobile site for SC I just jump on and make the substitution.

If you don't have it already, it's this:

http://heraldsun.afliphone.2013.virtualsports.com.au

Exactly the same as the app, which they make you pay for.

This week I'm keeping keen ears out for any news regarding Pearce Hanley. I can do a straight swap for Birchall this week, but this week only, as his price will rise more than Hanley's next round for sure (unless he gets injured or something I guess).

Just have to try and work out whether the trade is more valuable than the extra little bit of value and (possibly) extra score I'll get out of Birchall.

I went Suban->Hutchins and Karnesis->Westhoff last week, so similar. This week went Moloney->Mayes and Stevenson->Birchell

Don't get an email about green vests. I just check the AFL app, but I have to try and remember to look at it an hour before each game which is damn annoying. How did you signup for the email on subs?

Point is it's pretty hard when you've got a family and kids and you have to keep taking time out of your day to check your team all the time, especially given there's 9 different time slots every weekend. Pretty damn intrusive. No point complaining tho, that's the way it is.

Ah yeah totally man. I'm in the same boat. But there's a couple of nifty things out there at the moment to help with us in these predicaments! That mobile URL I mentioned earlier is only for Supercoach, of course, because the DT app is free! I don't know why they are charging people for the SC app... but that's the backdoor for us all anyway.

TooSerious.net has a service where you can put your team in, and they will automatically e-mail you in case one of your players is not playing, or gets the green vest in any particular game. It sends it between an hour and half an hour before the game starts, as soon as someone scouts the vest wearer, or the teams are formally submitted for the match to the umpires.

wow - never knew that about tooserious - will do that asap
ps - no wonder your in the top 34 (great job!)

i scored 1986 this week.......
you tell me
Paste your team and we'll tell you :)

In our league (which was in the top 200 last year) we had 6 out of 18 teams score over 2000 and only one score more than 2100. No need to make knee jerk reactions, was a very tough week for a lot of people this week.
