Marshall's got Gawn, Viney, Brayshaw, Jones and Oliver.
Let's just say, he won't be beaten on the spread.
Thinking Williams to Rotham. And Setterfield to Marshall. Leaves me 150k in the bank. Was going to bring Marshall in last week, but opted for Libba and Lloyd which worked out ok.
Wouldn't be downgrading Williams to Rotham.
Williams is a much safer option to start on the ground every week than Rotham who could be dropped at any time.
Williams should be upgraded not downgraded imo.
I'm thinking of upgrading him to Lloyd this week.

Alternatively, I could trade LDU & Balta > Stack/Rotham & Marshall. This would give me another week to evaluate Williams & Darling, not too sure what to do at this stage.
I think Brad Scott is too much of a prick to let LDU shine in the midfield. The question is, is Balta worth trading out at this stage?

Am wrestling with it but Williams disappointing. I thought he would be more of a distributor. His score hardly moved in the second half. Got too many rookies on the field and want to get better players. Reckon Parker has hit the wall and Setterfield might get rubbed out. His scores nothing to write home about either. Probably change it as the week goes on. Sunday rage!
Not sure whether to trade or hold steady this week. Currently sitting top 2% so not in dire straights.
Looking at stack or rotham lending selections, to free up cash to take Zilliams up. Also haven’t ruled out the option of trying to get in one of Neale or Whitfield.
Any thoughts appreciated.

How is it pointless to trade in someone who'll make money and get rid of a 20 point player who could be required on field if two injuries /suspensions occur?
I thought the same thing, but if I'd traded to Scrimshaw when I had the chance I'd have made good cash by now.

I'm considering Williams > Seagull so I don't think it's the worst idea.

As much as rewarding a fringe player for playing their role well when called up should be the case, it's not as simple as that from a team balance perspective when there is an established player who has played that same role well for a larger number of games to replace him with especially when said player was not dropped, but rather pulled out with a short term injury.
Dees don't have anyone better to replace Hore with at the moment. But he will most likely be dropped for May when he comes back in a 1-2 weeks unless they decide to drop Josh Wagner or Frost instead for match up reasons.
Jetta on the other hand might be right to go this week, in that case Rotham would be the player to make way as a like for like, unless WCE opt to drop someone else for Jetta for match up reasons this week. I can't think who that could be though.
