I'm bargain shopping this week, I had Coniglio as the 5th ranked midfielder in my PS rankings, I love GWS' run up to the byes, I love their round 14 bye

and he's 537k on the back of a poor round 2.

Just got to work out how to pay for him.

Hmm... best way to bring Marshall into this lemon team?

Butters > Ross/Stack
Moore > Marshall

71k left in the bank.

Yeah, there dont seem to be too many options other than the one you've identified. I'm not certain Marshall is a must have but he is obviously good value and Butters wont be making much more money anytime soon. For my team Im actually planning to keep Moore all season and use him as a D7/F7 with another DP player, but this isnt about my team. Its a pretty good time to trade Moore and its the ideal time to trade Butters so i say go for it!

How so? Parker's b/e is 46 and he's already arsed his quota of 80+ scores. Gibbons > Stack is a pointless as it was to sideways Hore a few weeks back.

Gibbons > Stack really isn't a more conservative play. Gibbons hasn't started making cash yet, but at his still low price once he arses an 80+ score (and he will as soon as you trade him out) his cash gen will belatedly kick in so long as his JS is still there he will make his 140k profit. Not only that, there is bugger all profit in that trade. Was the reason I held onto Hore when he was dropped while some others are looking to trade him back in this week.

Parker has had a few down weeks but he will make more once he gets back into it, last week had a knock which kept him down. Same logic for Butters (Without the knock). Gibbons has shown no ability to get up around the ball and plays fwd pocket in the only winless team in the competition (Who also have the lower points for). Trading him for Stack gives you significantly more cash gen in the long run.

Need Punchy to snap again - worried about his impact on the beautiful Sheed.

Port have plenty of youngsters, and they seem to be his type.

If he doesn’t, I’ll give Sheed another week to prove his superiority. If he fails, he becomes Ross next week and I use that cash to mash one of the potato rookies in my forward line.

Bruce has to go, attractive part time ruck role in rounds 1 & 2 (scores of 95 & 97) has been handed over to super ruck Blake Acres, i'll take the 43k profit and run.

Cousins a round or 2 to early, but Coniglio too attractive to pass up.

PLZ GUYS HALP (a pissy 51k in the bank. 29 trades left )

I don’t want to help you, purely because you posted your forward line first and it hurts my eyes.

Junkley has to go. Butters to Stack could give you the cash to go Dunkley to Seagull. If you’re in value mode, consider Butters -> Stack, and Parker -> (can’t believe I’m saying this after my rant last week) Marshall. Inb4 he has 50 against the Gawn/Preuss combo though.

EDIT: I might’ve got the maths wrong on the second trade - line ball if you can afford it

Is Jim Ross any chance to hold his place after both Dusty & Cotch return? I like the look of him as a SC prospect more than than Stack TBH
Almost definitely. Ross is the genuine article.

Unless he totally shits the bed this week I think Ross is going to stay in for extended stint.

We will drop Menadue Bolton and Castagna before we'd drop Ross i reckon

I'm tempted to go a week early on him rather than Stacks on the mill this week. Quick cash gen is great, and Stack offers that in the short term, but I feel like Jim Ross will make more money and score a lot better. If you could only pick one of them this year which would it be?

Any ideas guys? Would like to get a defence Premo in at the expense of Williams but no idea which rookie to bounce out to get the cash to do it.

Thinking of Similar but I really don't want to trade out Constable and he's pretty much the only way I can afford Marshall.
I've got Walsh at M6, which means I've had to field 2 of Constable/Butters/Atkins/Scott each week.
If I go Constable/Butters to Stack/Marshall, I can move Drew/Setters to the Mids.

Basically comes down to Marshall + 2 of Atkins/Stack/Setters on field VS Parker + Constable + Butters/Atkins on field. On current form it's about a 40-60 point gain if I do the trade as well as removing 1 FWD rookie from the field, but I lose a great cash cow in Constable.

Yep, Cogs is looking tasty. Not this week though for me

If Sheed goes under 90 this weekend then he's becoming Cogs or Yeo next week

mid rookie to Ross
Sheed to Cogs or Yeo

Does anything happen to Ross when Cotchin and Martin return?
Probably similar to Drew, will get less time on ball
But if he keeps doing well then no reason why he won't stick around

I probably wouldn't do that trade if I had to start an extra rookie on field TBH. You need all the cash gen you can get with a GnR heavy set up. Have you considered a Worpel > Marshall sideways trade?

I really don't understand trading rookies like Parker and Butters this early. They have shown they can score, Butters had 1 poor game, and Parker got injured otherwise he'd have likely scored OK.
Surely 2 price rises is premature, 1 decent score and there's alot more cash to be made between the 2.
Balta I can understand, he is a spud and will likely be dropped for Riewoldt.

Then there's the trade ins
Rotham surely has the shakiest JS, will he even be named if Jetta is back?

Stack or Ross? Say they are both named, Dusty and Houli back, does one go for Cotchin?

I'm going to get both. No guarantees obviously but I gather the club is really wrapped with both of them.

If I had to pick 1 in it would be Ross. I havent seen a midfielder debut at Richmond like that since Cotchin.

Balta was suppose to be Rance MK11. Ross gonna be Cotchin MK11?
