Traded Highmore for Waterman. Avoided the Daniel donut via Laird to defense + cash generation.
Thinking of also doing Oea for Bergman, but not completely sold, would do it if Bergman is guaranteed another 3-4 games at a 55-60 average.

I paid $586k for Lloyd last year in round 6 and it was the best trade I made all year. Ridley has a BE of 88 and hasn't scored below 124. Now is a good time to buy.

Will drop. But certainly don't think he's hit his max. How many scores do you miss out on in the meantime as you wait for him to drop? Though I guess it depends on your team, if your balance is already decent you can just wait it out but you're likely to miss out on some more big scores.

Few options to work with here.
Main concerns are rucks obviously as well as missing Impey before he blows out in price while forwards are looking relatively average. Brayshaw is the only keeper I would consider trading really.
Option 1: The Ruck Solved Problem.
Pros: Grawndy and avoiding Brayshaw Drop
Cons: Premature on Flynn and Trading a premo out.
Option 2: Get Impey in before he becomes too expensive
Pros: Get Impey in before he hits over 400k. Expected to sit at F6 at the end.
Cons: No spare money for ruck upgrades.
Option 3: Impey + Ruck Cash
Pros: Avoiding Brayshaw Drop, Bringing in Impey at R6 and having the cash to hopefully go Meek > Gawn with another Rookie downgrade next week. Get to keep Flynn also.
Cons: Premo Brayshaw traded out.
Option 4: **** it all and keep it simple.
Pros: Waterman in and some cash saved for rucks though probably couldnt bring Gawn in for another two rounds. Keep Brayshaw and hope he doesn't get tagged.
Cons: Miss Impey and realistically woudnt touch him after this round.
Option 5: Rucks don't exist.
Pros: Impey In
Cons: Rucks doomed.

Last choice for the round is whether to go Brockman > Heppell or hold
In isolation and without knowing the ins and outs of your side I would say it is a solid trade. But you need to be prepared to carry Heppell nearly all season if things go sideways elsewhere

Idea is he makes slightly more than brockman from here (100-150k), and is a better M8 than Berry, injury risk is just concerning
Fair call and don't disagree that he will appreciate quicker and should score better... just think you need to be prepared to hold him long term if you bring him on (or anyone in that price bracket) otherwise it may not be worth it

Ended up going Fantasia -> Waterman, Campbell -> Dunkley.
I’m pretty confident that Campbell has more cash to make but getting Dunkley for under 600k seems a lot better than having a bag of cash accruing no interest in the bank. Means I’m tapped out though, under 3k in the kitty
