I desperately need to get Ward off-field, but I also don't think i should trade Hinge yet, as i still think he has some coin to make. 5k off Owens to Noddy is the same conundrum i faced when Stephens was on the bubble and holding seemed to do ok then.

Is Hinge really the only option to get Noddy in?

What are people's thoughts on Will Brodie? Besides Fyfedom, who else would displace him?

We won’t be dropping him anytime soon. Still only 70% TOG for those 35 possessions and 135 SC. Obviously won’t do that every week though.
His scoring may be impacted by Fyfe, but he’s 5-6 weeks away still.

If you’re buying him he is. His kicking is horrible, but he’s such a beast at tackling and contested possessions it doesn’t matter. Could be POD genius. He might be susceptible to an unexpected role change or demotion, that’s the only thing.

Why trade Xerri? He's got plenty of cash to make, and according to the doom merchants there will never be another good rookie so that money could be handy.

Can you do Bowey to Huge Dix?

Good call with Xerri. I could go Bowey to Dixon which makes more sense with BEs, and look at trading Xerri for Miller next week instead.

I think I'm going to have to trade both Bowey and Xerri in the next two weeks to get Touk and Piggy, and IMO those two are too good to pass up at the prices they will fall to, and Xerri and Bowey have to go to make it happen with shit all downgrades on the horizon.

But holding Xerri this week definitely makes more sense cash gen-wise. My thought process was that I'd rather have Dixon on ground with NicNat out than Paddy Mac, but that's very short-sighted and could mean I'd have to upgrade Rowell rather than Berry for Oliver (which I still might do in fairness).

BUT… because of this, opposition tag, make plans. Petracca himself will sometimes coast or screw around and try low percentage stuff cos why not? He’s Christian Mother ****ing Petracca!

Keays is a homebrand midfielder at his second club. Cannot hit the side of a barn by foot. Playing in a weak side. Is he in Adelaide’s plans? Probably. Is he key to their game style? No, they have other crabs like Crouch and (sorry, these days) Sloane. But he’s possibly the King Crab! Will he get tagged? No, never. Is he always playing for his life and next contract? Yes! There’s something relentless about him, exactly because he’s not a star. Might quietly be an SC god.
